CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 4/29-5/5

Does anyone know if the tote/Garnier $5 offer is limit one? I did it, along with the razors and toothbrush, yesterday. The bottom of my receipt says offer limit reached under the other two, but only has my total of $15.96 for the Garnier deal. Can I do this again?

The 5ECB on $15 is a monthly deal. I did it 2x on 1 card without any problems and received back the $5 ECB each time. My store happens to have plenty of the totes (albeit the white/tan ones) and I have managed to get the free one both times - I am planning on using the totes as gift bags for mothers day! The monthly deal is limit 5

I just received an email from customer care about the 1.99 GUM toothbrushes only generating $1. This is the response:

"I apologize for the delay in responding, however there was a glitch in system which caused the register's to print the wrong amount on the coupon receipt. The coupon actually has a value of $1.99 contrary to what is printed."

This is incorrect. I used mine already and was only credited $1. My mom used her and same thing only $1. If their saying it has a value of 1.99 than why did we only get $1?

I also had not received $5 credit for one of my Garnier purchase, it was a molding type of gel. I thought ALL hair products were included, apparently not. This is a partial copy of the response:

"The promotions are very ad specific and I encourage you to pay special attention to the small print that is located beneath the advertised products. There you will find the specific size, or quantity needed to qualify for that particular promotion."

I did get the tote, which my store had about 3 big boxes of them in all 3 colors.

At the beginning of the week the ECB being generated was only $1 then they "fixed" the problem and it started generating $1.99 midweek. I would call customer service and ask them about it and see if they can generate an ECB for the .99 as that is what they did for many people.

As far as the Garnier deal, again call as the ad states "when you buy $15 worth of Maybelline Cosmetics or Garnier skin or Hair Care/Colo products with your extracare card" It is not item specific to only those pictured in the ad!!! As long as you purchased a non trial size (as those generally do not work) and it is a hair or skin care product it SHOULD have qualified. Did anything print on the bottom of your receipt?

It seems that different products are being grouped separately - some are registering as Maybelline total cost and others are listing as Garnier total cost. So the bottom of your receipt will say something like

Garnier total $5.99
Maybelline total $11.97

This is what we have figured out so far:

Ok i went tonight to use dbf's card for some of the deals as ive reached the limit on mine and this is waht i got:
Anyway here are my savings for tonight, I really felt like i robbed the place:
CVS First trip:
2 softsoap body washes
2 tooth defense listerine mouth rinse
1 cacao reserve bar
2 puffs tissues
minus
4 off 20, 3 off 15, free choco bar Q, bodywash Q, $7 ECB's,
TOTAL: $3.76 Got back in ECB's $8.98 and $7.54 and my extra $1 from the mushy toohbrushes. Hows that for rolling ecb's..LOL

Went to my car , regrouped and organized for
Second trip:
2 softsoap bodywashes
2 all small and mighty laundry soap
1 crest nature expressions monthly deal
1 cacao reserve
1 puffs tissue
Minus
4 off 20, free choco bar Q, 2 $1 Q for laundry soap, $1 Q for bodywash, $9.98 in ECB's. Paid OOP $1.84. Got back in ecb's $8.98 and $2.77.

Those puffs are a great deal and they are also good for pushing my totals over the $20 to get my deals.

So I think for a one night trip that wasnt too bad, i started with $7 in ecb's and ended up with just about $20.

Then for the heck of it I stopped at Walgreens on the way home and happen to find the last two mushy toothbrushes so after my 2 $2 Q's i paid $.28 OOP.

I purchased the Face Towlettes, Face Cream Cleanser and Fiber Molding Putty Hair Gel. The one that did not register was the Hair Gel. It does say on the bottom of my receipt 11.98. So I'm suspecting maybe the styling products are not included but since you have the mousse listed I'm not sure.

went to cvs today since I had some ECB's that expired today..

got softsoap bodywash, package of 2 toothbrushes, haircolor, bottle of garnier fructis shampoo, Infusion razor for DD, childrens tylenol, 2 bottles of All clothes detergent, stick of deodorant for DS.. for $3.xx after ECB's and coupons.. plus I got $7 in ECB's back and I can send in my receipt for the $6.99 tylenol to my flexible spending..
