CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 4/20/08-4/26/08

There are 2 CVS's near me (Spring Hill and Franklin, TN) that both have scanners, however they both say Out of Order. I've mentioned it several times to both stores. Wish they'd hurry up and get them working. I want some more coupons!

We have a price scanner where you check the price of stuff - did I read correctly that these will print coupons??

April - my parents used to live in Franklin in Eagles Glen subdivision. Nice place up there. I visited many times as they lived there for 8 years before they moved back south (Louisiana)

There's a software glitch in many scanners so when they say out of paper, they really need to have the two-prong cord unplugged and plugged back in after each use.

The temporarily unavailable will usually work after the three-prong cord is unplugged and plugged back in. If it comes back up and says "out of paper," the the two-prong cord needs to be unplugged an re-plugged.

Weird I know, but it works on the one I found. Sometimes they don't refill the paper because they think it's broken, but its the cord issue.

Usually only the red ones print coupons, it will say it on the screen if it doesn't say "temporarily unavailable." There are blue ones too and they look equipped for printing (have a slot on the right side), but most don't do anything except scan prices.

Thanks guys for the link. Sadly not one near me. But where I shop in MD one or 2 have a price scanner but once I tried scanning my card and is said no such item found.

Kimya last year I was living near that one in Woodbridge but was not CVSing then.

The big one (18 oz) is not advertised (that I'm aware of) and is $5.49 get back a $5.49 ECB. I think you can do the deal 5 times. It's Softsoap SPA Body Wash. One bottle is a purple sort of color and the other is green, I think. I'd have to go look in my bathroom closet for sure.

I finally got the Softsoap Spa 18 oz bottles today! I have been looking for them all week and finally today (tonight actually) I thought I would try one last time and they actually had them in stock ! I bought five (I had two coupons for $1.50 each) and got my ECB's! I had ECB's from last week so I ended up spending $1.63.

I also finished up the Alaverts. I got five of those this week using the $4.00 coupons.

I know someone asked earlier about friendly cashiers. The one I had tonight was extremely friendly. She was very impressed that I got $40 in ECB's tonight (with the softsoap and alavert deals). I forgot to give her my $10 off $50 receipt coupon first before my other coupons and she voided my whole sale and rerang everything (I'm certain the people behind me were very annoyed, Oops!).

The coupon printers that everyone is talking about........where are they and what do they print up? Are they by the registers? Or are they in the stores somewhere? My receipts usually have other things on the bottom of them besides the ECB's. I get coupons for certain items, $10 off a purchase of $50. etc. Is this what you are talking about?
