CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 4/20/08-4/26/08

Mine is the 4-4932 so it looks like it is the same coupon for everyone.:goodvibes

:offtopic: Are any of you CVSers going to WDW in September?

This might be really good for the Jergens, etc. monthly deals. Use a $1 off CVS coupon, a $4/$20 beauty coupon, a manu. coupon and maybe even a $/$$ coupon if you have one.

I wish I had gotten those!

Maggie

:headache: I did this deal this AM and got the coupon in an email after I got home.

Only CVSers would understand why you are so excited  about your DH needing pain killers. (Unless, of course, you were excited because you were going to take advantage of his pain killer fog to plan a trip to Disney!!!)

Maggie

What's funny is that we really didn't need the prescription because we have a medicine cabinet full of the "good stuff" from the past year - my gall bladder surgery, Mason's birth, and DH's knee surgery and kidney stones but I'll fill any free script to get that gift card! DH and I don't like to take meds unless absolutely necessary so we always end up with much more than the doctor gave us.

Funny you mention the WDW trip (see ticker below). We keep extending the trip and just added DDP. Oh how I wish we could go back for Free Dining.

They are so weird -then why put it on a public link that everyone can access?

Supposedly the emails are linked to the card numbers and they can block out a group and upload it to the register system. I think they're learning that this email thing doesn't work very good because coupons were beeping for those who got them in email and not for some people who didn't get them.

I think the bigger issue was that some sites were turning the coupons into a .pdf and having several on one sheet of paper.

That's what I mean? Who is supposed to be the one who determines the "intended" recipient? Some of us would be SOL with the grumpy managers we have. Some would have no problem! It beeps for some who got the email (supposedly the "intended" recipient) but it doesn't beep for some of those who printed from the link??

I need your help with a scenario....
I currently have $3.00 ecb's from last week:
I need to get DH the Prilosec for $26.00 Or whatever, I have a $1.00 off Q for the Prilosec. I have a "thank you for updating your information Q for $4.00/$20.00 purchase and I have (2) $1.00 Q's for the Mennen Speedstick. I know only 1 per card but DH and I both have a card.
Can anyone help me with any centros?
I'm thinking I'm limited to:
$26.00 for Prilosec
- $1.00 Q (manu.)
- $3.00 EB (roll over)
- $3.99 EB (this week Mennon)
- $4.00 (Welcome, update info)
---------------------------------
Approx: $14.00
Can anyone do any better?

Thanks,
April

Have you done the alavert deal this week yet?

Take your $3 ECB and buy an alavert with the coupon.
6.99 Alavert
-$4 coupon
=$2.99
Use $3 ECB (have them price adjust to $2.99)
Now you will get back $4 ECB.

Do again and buy the Mennen + alavert.
6.99 Alavert
3.99 Mennen
-$4 Alavert coupon
-$1 Mennen coupon
-$4 ECB
Total 1.98 + tax OOP

Now you will receive back $4 ECB + $3.99 ECB. Total of $7.99 ECB.

Next order get the remaining 3 Alavert
6.99 alavert
6.99 alavert
6.99 alavert
-$4 alavert Q
-$4 alavert Q
-$4 alavert Q
-$7.99 ECB
Total .98 + tax

Now you will get back $12 ECB

Next order get the Prilosec:

Prilosec 26.00
-4 Welcome Email
-12 ECB
-1 Manu Q
Total 9 OOP

So you spent $11.96 + tax OOP?

I don't know. This is my first thought. And rough estimates.

Also, if you can get any EOB bags plus $3/$10 CVS coupons. Those are money makers that can build up your ECB. Also if you haven't done the Softsoap deals yet, there are printable coupons and make those purchases money makers too. So you could build up you ECB first.

The only other suggestion I have is to buy anything else you can that's free after ECB first. If you have $2 Skin Effects coupon (or they have them at your store), you can get 3 scrubs or cleansers, and use 3 coupons (they have to push these coupons through anyway so might as well get all 3 at a time).

I'd get 3 at 6.99 = 20.97
-$4/20
-$6 in coupons
=
$10.97 plus tax (and you could use your $3 ECB too), earn $15 ECB

Then use the $15 ECB on the Prilosec with another $4/20 coupon and the $1 mfg. (might need to get a candy as a filler to use both the $4/20 and an ECB on 1 item)

Then use your ECB from the Prilosec to buy the Speedstick

That Alavert idea is perfect.. I printed off 4 q's I just need to print off 1 more.
Also, I cannot find Softsoad Q's to save my life!!!! The link that was posted earlier said there were no more q's available. :sad2: I'm going top look for the EB bags now... thanks soo much for the information. I wish I could hook up with ya'll every week and have my own personal mentor,:worship: but I do learn alot just lurking around! :rotfl2:

I went today and was thrilled to find a jewelry armoire for $3.99! Not even marked 90% off so I took it up to scan and voila!! I bought Alavert and the Spa (large bottle) and they owed ME money. I of course threw some candy in though to even it out!

Maggiew you are my hero!!!!! Heck, your my Dad's hero also!!!! (I took him along on my CVS escapade) Let me just tell you that we got:

3 puffs ($2.99 each - $3/10.00 Q @CVS)
5 Alaverts ($6.99 each - $4.00 Q each)
1 24/7 deo ($3.99 - 1.00 Q)
1 42 ct. Prilosec (26.99 - 1.00 Q)

Using the EB's the way you all suggested I spent a total of $14.00 oop!
You guys rock!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 :worship:

Hi Friends!:wave2:

I had an awesome CVS run tonight. :thumbsup2 My DH:cool2: & DSpirate: fell asleep early, so I dropped DDprincess: off at DISmom's and went CVSing.:car:

My plan was to buy the Viva paper towels since we're nearly out of the bounty, and the CVS brand stuff like drinking water/garbage bags you know boring regular stuff.

First, I walk in, and guess what I spot??:3dglasses

A SCANNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:
okay, as I type that, I know you all understand how exciting that is.

And, guess what the scanner spits out at me?
$1 off VIVA! I almost had a meltdown in the CVS. I was so happy!:yay:

So, I did my shopping, and then I spot:3dglasses the BIG SPA! party:

Now I'm just on a CVS high :hyper: and I am frantically trying to figure out my deals with the caculator :teacher: on my cell phone and I'm getting all hot since I'm so worked up... well anyway, I did really well at the CVS tonight and I'm very pleased!:cool1:

I am going in the morning to finish up my BIG SPA deal on both cards. I'll have both the kiddiespirate:princess: so I did all my caculations here at home so hopefully I'll be in & out!:rolleyes1

frantically trying to figure out my deals with the caculator :teacher: on my cell phone

That is so funny! I have a calculator (and scissors) in the glove box in my car. On Sunday mornings I can often be found sitting in the parking lot of CVS with the newspaper, cutting the coupons that I need, and then busting out my calculator to (hopefully) pull off a "flawless" deal....:rotfl:

I also make sure I take the calculator in with me in case "it all goes bad" and I have to resort to "Plan B". :rotfl:

I have to make sure my DD and DH see this post! They think I am the only person in the world with scissors in my bag and in the car. I also sit in the parking lot going through the coupons in the Sunday paper before I head into CVS and the grocery store. I can usually do the math in my head but have been known to use the calculator on my cell phone in a pinch. And the advice from the CVS'ers on this board is priceless. I always check here before I head into town shopping.

I was excited for you just reading this! Only us fellow addicts would "get it". :rotfl:

Oh and I'm GUILTY of scissors in the car too. :rolleyes1

:lmao: Been there. I think the employees at my CVS stores think I'm some kind of lunatic, standing in the aisle muttering to myself and looking through a coupon holder the size of a shoe box :rolleyes1 I'm starting to worry I will go in one day and they will have the guys with the white jackets waiting for me ready to take me away .....I can see it now "M'am no one needs that many Softsoaps and M&M's, come with us". ;)

I stand in the aisles and use my cell phone calculator too. And I have scissors in my purse and my car.

Its the CVS way! :grouphug:

I thought I was the only carring scissors around in my CVS bag. Never thought about putting a calculator in there though. I have a spiral notebook in my bag that I write my "plan" for the day on. As I shop I jot down prices (to keep up with total), coupon value and ECB that will generate. Easy to check and see if I get all my ECB's. And yes my family think I am nuts too but they like to shop in my stash.

I am so happy for you. I have never been in a store with that kind of scanner. When I am living in MD my stores have price scanners but they do not give CRT's.
