CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 3/16/08-3/22/08

Alas my "Grand" plan was not to be....

The only thing they were out of where I went was the Venus. Which I really want!! But I did find some 1.99 Lumene. So I made out well anyway.

2 pot of gold 9.98
May. lipgloss 8.99
2 lumene 3.98
S.H. polish 2.49
playsk. bag 1.49

- 3/15 beauty
- 2 maybelline
-20.99 ECBs = .94 OOp 22.95 back in ECBS

I should've gone to the store a little further away to see if they still had the Venus's. They had them last week and even had the little bag with the sample of shaving cream in them. Oh well.

Okay I am new to this as last week was my first trip, so I only have 6 ECBs to use. I have a $5.00 off $15.00 to use this week. Does the $15.00 have to be before mfc are applied or is it after they are applied.
The $15 is the total recorded at the register before any coupons. It takes into account the sale price and/or a B1G1free sale, so just make sure that your total is over $15 based on the price CVS charges. After your items are rung up and totalled then hand the $5/$15 coupon (which will bring say a $15.50 owed down to $10.50) and then any other coupons after that.
Your proposed trip looks good. If you go back a few posts you'll see what I bought today (candy, maybelline, easter stuff).

Where are the $4 Schick coupons? I didn't have any in my paper today. Are they printables?

Can one of the CVS Professionals ;) here help me make a deal w/my BOGO Oral B toothbrush coupons? I just found 2 that I thought I lost last week. I also have 2 $2.00 off coupons for Oral B toothbrushes, but I think they aren't for the types listed in in the flyer this week.

TIA

Also, anyone find any Coppertone coupons? We need some sunscreen for this summer........thanks

whats the limit on the candy???

If you are asking about the Hershey's Pot of Gold or the jelly beans (which are both after ECBs) then the limit is 2 on both and those deals are only valid today and tomorrow. I went to 3 stores today. 2 were sold out of the Hershey's and the third had ordered a ton and it was flying off the shelves!

I don't normally CVS on Sundays, but I went this morning so that I could make sure I got the good 2-day freebies. Is it a sickness that makes me eager to get home so I can post my good deals on here? Here are my trips. 3 stores and got all the great stuff.

-$9.98 ECB
-$8.97 ECB
-$6 ECB
-$4 ECB
-$2 ECB

I knew this one would be higher OOP, which I'm ok with. This is my newer card and I needed to build up some more ECBs

Got back $1.98 ECB for plastic eggs, $1.98 for jelly beans, $6 for Russell Stover, $9.98 for Pot o Gold, $5.98 for Listerine, $6 for Embrace

NOTE: The BeFine packets are NOT working anymore, as I didn't get the ECB for them. So they must've only been working for the weekly deal and NOT the monthly deal. I will be returning these. I RARELY ever return anything to CVS, but will return these as they were $10 and I don't need $10 worth of sample packets when I paid a high OOP. That $10 can go far!

Okay, I am new to this CVS thing. I got my card a few weeks ago and now I am hooked. I got the free chocolates this morning, but my question is that I see many making 2 separate purchases with their card and then their husband's card. Can I get my husband a CVS card and then go back and puchase things again? I see in the ad is says a household limit, do the cards not scan that we are in the same household?

As of now, they aren't tracking "per households" on the cards. I guess it's just enforced in some of the stores if a person uses more than 1 card to buy the same things.

I rarely make more than 1 purchase in each store, but I have 9 of them within about a 3 mile radius of my house and more on the way to work.

They are taken. Do you want Wednesday, Friday or Saturday?
My point was I want BOTH today and tomorrow -- I'm betting she's not going to only hit CVS 1 day of the 2-day sale, but BOTH days. She's a true diehard CVSer :worship:, but if I must only pick between Wed., Fri. or Sat., then of course I'll pick Wednesday, because it comes sooner than the others :). Am willing to lose 25 toothpastes, as that'd still leave me 25. :)

Are the $2 Maybelline coupons a few posters have mentioned from a printable place or were they in the paper? I never have success with those couponing sites where you have to download their software and don't recall seeing in paper this week or last.:confused3

My $2 Maybelline coupon was from the Sunday paper a few weeks back. I used mine today and tried to pick a shade I think my mother will like - my DD and I don't use lip color of any kind. If she doesn't want it I'll offer it up to my sister in law's or nieces! Someone will take it off my hands. Also this morning I got 8 Russell Stover's. I figure after the BOGO coupons and the ECB's they cost me $0.14 each. Also got my free jelly beans (they had all licorice at my CVS) and free eggs and the Hershey's. They still don't have the Venus razors though. I've been trying to use my $4 coupon for three weeks now. I should have got a raincheck since there isn't another CVS for a hundred miles around! They are opening a new one near my office (110 miles away) in a few weeks. I plan to get another card and try to make a weekly stop there too. I also did the Dove buy $15 and get $5 ECB because I had some good coupons and DD wanted to try the new scents in the body wash and shampoo. I only had $15 ECB to roll over this week since I used all the ones I had to print photographs after our Disney trip President's week. I have to re-bulid - its almost like starting over!

I don't know if this has been mentioned.
but in the flyer today there is the Contour blood sugar meter for $30 and there is a $30 mail in rebate.
there is also a $30 off coupon in the sunday paper today.
is this really a $30 money maker, or will they not let you do the rebate if you use the coupon?

Any idea whats going to happen w/the montly Vitamin C - 2.99 get back 2.99 this week they will be b1g1 - i'm thinking the ecb's will not print out?

lisa

I actually bought 2 Vitamin C's today and they did not ring up as BOGO but instead the ECBs for both printed which was fine with me either way. I was curious what they would do.

DH was helping out late at church and the kids had choir practice for Easter so I had LOTS of time to kill so I spent a lot of time at CVS. :lmao:

I got the 2 Pot of Golds, 2 Vit C, 1 Lypsyl, and 2 SmartRinses.

I was kicking myself for not bringing extra $/$$ coupons. All I had was the one I bought for my one transaction for my one card. :sad2: What was I thinking?

Well, I broke down after my third trip to the store (to walk around) and got an extra CVS card for my DH and spent the full $11.xx (+ tax) OOP  for the 2 Pot of Golds. :sad2: But I did get the $9.98 back in ECBs.

That's good to know because I was going to get more with my DH's card but now I won't!

I'll take Sat. in the LJ pool!

I'm about to head out to CVS. I am getting a late start because my brother was in town visiting and he just left. Since I haven't seen him in a few years, I figured I better stay and visit awhile instead of running off to CVS.

Maggie

Another note on the BeFine packets....the monthly booklet specifically says it excludes trial sizes, but last week's ad did not, so that must be why there were working last week.

And FREE Glade spray this week! Monthly booklet has a $1 ECB when you buy 2 Glade sprays. They are .99 this week and there was a BOGO in today's paper, for, technically, a moneymaker of .01 for each deal, limit 5 deals.
