I'm in the same boat. I have no ECB's and realize that I'll have to spend some money upfront to start up again. I just hate to pay for (usually overpriced) items at start up.


Maybe another week would be better for us to start back??

I havent CVS'd in a few weeks, since the Madagascar deal....and have no ECBs, any suggestions on some good transactions to get started again for this week? and what is the deal on the bath robes?

The bathrobes went fast up here once they went to 90% off. All I know is they were about $1.49 when they were put on clearance. I don't know much about them otherwise. Maybe someone else can answer that for you.

I saw this on another board, free toffee or caramel popcorn. If you get the $2/2 gold emblem nut product, this will work on these which are on sale for $1 this week. They have peanuts in them.

I also got a $5/$20 cvs brand coupon, any idea what this would be good to use on?

The CVS brand you can use on just about anything, including non-cvs stuff. I always try to make sure I have at least a few CVS brand items in my cart though when I use those. The Gold Emblem stuff would count, as well as the free vitamins this week.

That popcorn is really good. Too bad we don't have a scanner here to get the coupon from cause I would be stocking up! Yum!

I did the P&G deal today (to use up all the ECBs that I had expiring) and yes, the 9 roll Charmin does work! Scanned right through as free Another guy was doing the deal as well with the Tide and he saw my coupon binder and asked if I had a spare Tide coupon. I did and gave it to him and he was so grateful. Then I told him to grab the 9 roll of TP and he about fell over. With everyone being so nice to me this week with the coupon quest I figured I needed to spread some Karma!

I usually go to iheartcvs.com or afullcup.com to look at upcoming weeks. I know a lot of people use hot coupon world too.

Too many posts to quote so just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone! The comments are great. I can handle the one about living the low-consumption lifestyle because I tell my kids to use half a bottle of shampoo every time they shower and toothpaste is just like mint flavored candy. I really wish I could tell that person to stop over and I will load him/her up with whatever they want.

Those year-to-date savings totals add up, especially when you get 90% on things like Skin Effects and robes and perfume, speaking of which, go scan every perfume gift set you find! Some are ringing up at 90% off right now. I'm not going to do perfume this year, I couldn't find enough people who wanted them.

I too wish we'd hear from Kimya, she and Its A Happy Day are the ones who got me started fulltime at CVS.

The robes here were $3.75 and my store had lots left. I got all the freebies for this week, and someone told me about an unexpected freebie which turned into a HUGE money maker: they have 24/7 lip plumper on CLEARANCE for anywhere from 50-90% off of regular price of $19.99, depending on where you live, AND the register prints out a $10 ECB, ours here were $5 each, which gave me $20 ECB, I got the only 2 left. The limit is 5. Also there's a hello kitty digital camera on clearance, was $29.99, now is $2.99 if you can find it.

puffkin, I just had an idea if you can get double the coupons needed. Maybe you should sign up the reporter for a CVS card and have her shop along with you buying the same things, plus, and this is the best part, she could get a $4/20 CVS welcome email that would probably cover the OOP.

I think I found a schick coupon I can try to use. I couldn't find any glade spray coupons listed that weren't expired. Oh well.

I wish I could find those robes...they are full price here in MA... I missed out on them last year and we hare having a girls weekend ...all my 6 sisters and I would love to put them on everyones beds as a little treat

I don't think so. She would have to register at CVS.com and then they send a link right away. But what you could do is pick up a new card and send the number from it in email so she could register and receive the coupon link. Then have the card and the coupons ready when you meet.

You could also give her a plan and some coupons for spending what she earned on the 3-15 sale:

-Irish Spring FAECB, plus $1 mfg.
-Colgate (paste or toothbrush) FAECB, plus 75 cent mfg.
-Right Guard/Dry Idea $2.99, get $2 ECB (coupon ?)
-Glade buy $10 get $3 ECB (use buy a refill get a warmer free mfg. - spend $2.50 get $3 ECB back), limit 5 deals

I had an annoying CVS run today. And I'm down to $8 ECBS and it's bothering me.

The cashier didn't want to give me the trail mix for my $2 off CVS nut CRT. She was trying to tell me trail mix isn't nuts. She finally did it anyways. And then she told me I didn't purchase a Lumene product, when I did. She then adjusted my $4 coupon down to $2.99. She always has looked at me funny since I started going there regularly, she doesn't like me.
