CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/24/08-3/01/08

I had to read this post a few times! At first I thought you were saying you bought the Preparation H wipes as fillers because your DD & DH needed snacks! popcorn::

Maggie
Hubby does like having snacks, too, but nope, for our kids -- Funny though, I just looked over at DH and I see he's munching on a package of CVS cookies. :rotfl2: By the way, DD's snacks were a big hit at her school party today (DS's is on Friday).

Kimya - I hope you are feeling better soon!

I wasn't laughing because I thought you were buying your DH snacks popcorn:: but that you were getting Preparation H FOR SNACKS. :)

Depending on what she gets as snacks, she might end up needing lots of Prep H wipes!

Kimya

Ha ha ha ha, Maggie and Kimya, you both cracked me up!:rotfl2: In the spirit of encouraging healthy childhood behavior, wanted to forgo the party snacks and just have my children give each classmate a tube of toothpaste! Can you imagine?:rotfl: Oh, and for DS's anal retentive teacher, I've got a package of Prep.H wipes.

He is in Northeast TN but we could tell him to give your DM a call. He would probably say, "I have this crazy lady here in TN and would you do what her friends want in your area to get her off my back". :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl: It pays to have friends in high places.

i'm feeling better today though. Not 100%, but about 85-90%.

Kimya

How are you today, Kimya?

All 3 kids and myself are battling the nastiest stomach virus I have ever seen. I still have my older 2 out of school - they are so weak and dizzy still. DH of course was out of town for all of it.

Ask the shift supervisor at your store. Mine will allow CVS coupons and ECB's only up to a month or so past it's expiration date. Before I found that out *Shhh* I've had also put expired ECB's in with my stack of coupons and they have just pushed them through too without question.

This may have been answered before - but I must have missed it. . . anyhow, I have some colgate coupons that expire on Saturday - I want to use them for the ecb deals that start on Sunday - do you think if I go Saturday at midnight I can use the coupons and get the ecb's for the spacials starting Sunday??? TIA!

SOOOOOO much better! I'm at about 95%. Only problem is....for the past 5 days (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed) I've been taking Excedrin Tension headache in the morning (acetaminophen and caffeine...no aspirin) to help with my head. So last night I took 2 regular Tylenol and same with this morning. Well....come around 1:30, I was ready to doze off at my desk! And of course...everyone saw. :lmao:

Thank you guys for all the good wishes!

Can't hurt to try! The stores in Frederick all activate their sales mid-day on Saturday. Sometimes as early as noon!

Can someone please explain how the gift card for a new prescription?

Every single store that I have been to has the next week's deals loaded into the computer by 6pm on Saturday.

You will be fine! Worse case scenario, you don't get the ECBs and return the toothpaste for a full refund then rebuy it. Whenever you return they give you the full price not the full price minus any coupons.

My understanding from my CVS is that the sale prices take effect on Saturday night but not the ECB offers. So if something is on sale for $1.99 starting Sunday, you would get the sale price on Saturday night but for ECB offers, those strictly take effect on Sunday. YMMV :)

I've never encountered receiving the sale prices but not the ECBs.

Had to share this with folks who get CVS:
We're going to a minor league Hockey game with the nephews Sunday. On their website, it's CVS day there, so the first 1000 fans get a $100 CVS gift bag. (I was actually on the website b/c we didn't know if we were seeing the minor league hockey game or the college hockey team-clearly we're big sports fans). I have informed my mother we must get there early to get our gift bags. :lmao:

If you're talking about the Colgate toothpaste deal, that's a monthly so it should start on Saturday! Take your coupons and go make some money at the CVS! :thumbsup2

(Or is there another deal you're talking aobut? :confused3 )

RUN! RUN! RUN! to CVS!! (or you can leap there too.)

The fragrance/cologne gift sets are ringing up 90% off and are unmarked. :cool1:

I stopped at my CVS on the way to work and got 3 big bags of sets for $32!!!

Celine .99
5 Charlie original .33 each
2 Charlie red .33 each
5 Charlie white .33 each
2 Ciara .99 each
2 Flair 1.99 each
2 Lucky #6 $2.99 each
Musk Men .99
2 P Stock .99 each
1 Stetson black .99
1 Stetson decanter .99
1 White Shoulders 1.99
2 Chloe 2.99
Jovan Musk .99
Vanilla Fields .99

Total for 29 items was $31.79!!

The more expensive ones (2.99, 1.99) were gift sets with either perfume/lotion or something like that. A few were in these nice red velvet gift boxes!
