CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 1/27/08-2/2/08

JUst got 3 pkgs of the Cottonelle - the sign said 9.99 so i asked the kid and he said yep its ringing up 4.99! Also got the 2ecbs back on each! They had more - but where would i put it all?? maybe i'll go back tomorrow and put it up in the attic! Also got the Advil liquid caplets they all had the $2.00 coupon on them!

All in all i got

6 jars of Ragu sauce
1 Peanut butter
5 boxes of Advil

used a 4/20 a 2/10 $10.00 advil coupons used 11.97 in ecbs and about 2.00 oop! (got back 13 in ecb's

then went back and got the
3 pkgs of Cottonelle -
Arm & Hammer toothpaste and
the stayfree pads

used a 4/ 20coupon 1.00 toothpaste the 13 ecbs and paid about 2.50oop got back about another 10.00 in ecbs!

This was a good trip!

and i found a new CVS i like!

I find something that is fairly cheap that I have a coupon for or I just get a cheap pack of gum or candy bar. I bought a bunch of the Johnson's buddies coupons for this reason. The bars are $.99 but the coupon makes them free plus thay act as a great filler when I need less than $1 to use a $/$$ coupon

As for tonight, why not get a box of the q-tips or the J&J special packs that are also comign up at 50% off. You will pay ~$2 more but will get it right back in more ECBs.

A couple of my CVS stores told me not to worry about it, others told me to get something. I usually grab a Blow Pop (found with the regular candy bars) as they are .33 each.

I've never had a problem stacking coupons before, but today the cashier made a mistake and had to re-ring my whole order. When the manager came over to void my order he really scrutinized all of my coupons. Of course, they were all good.

I saved $116 today, spent $23.86 OOP and got $9.29 back in ECB's. The cashier did congratulate me.

Does everyone have the PDF for the Sambucol rebate? That is another $12.99 I'll be getting back, especially since the ECB didn't print.

It is the VA store that you told me about. They only let you get two!

I called all our local stores today and they said they were out. VA said they only had 4 left but when I got there I saw a stack of 20 easy. I can understand them wanting to spread the bargain out, but the ECB is 5, they shouldn't limit it to two!

Our VA store has new year napkins on sale for 15 cents, I used one of those as a filler for my mom.

We did three transactions for her tonight. She got the pepsi deal, 2 cottonelles, advil, robitussin, satyfree, toothpaste, another filler shampoo, 4 soy joy and those 15 napkins. Spent about $25 oop to get her started and she got 18.39 in ECBs! I think she's hooked!

A corporate email supposedly went out last Thursday saying that only one $/$$ coupon can be used per transaction and I guess they began enforcing it at my closest store on Friday. I only did one transaction tonight, but others at the store were breaking theirs up into $20 groups to use the $4/20. I did the $15/$75 and a CRT $10/50 (they said no limit on CRT coupons and asked if I had more! - didn't).

Okay, I can usually figure out the abbreviations, but CRT coupon has me stumped Can someone share what that one means. thanks so much.

Just did a few quick CVS runs to look for the 50% off value packs.
I found 1 Dial pack at the first store it rang up at 3.49 and I got the ECB.
Second store had nothing. Third store had a bunch of Cottonelle and J&J cotton swabs and 1 dial pack so I bought one of each. They all rang up 50% off but the printer jammed and my ECB's and receipt are totally unreadable. I called customer service to see if they could reprint them and he said they would look into it and get back to me on Friday. Does it usually take that long? I have never had to call them about anything before. Even if I don't get the ECB's on them it was still a really good deal. If I can make some space in the closet I am going back for more toilet paper in the morning.

I'm trying to get into the CVS roll, but I haven't done too well so far. I seem to either misplace my ECBs or they expire before I make it back to the store. I have been using the pharmacy, so I do have some of the $25 GCs that I will get to use eventually. Someone else is taking all of your CVS deals. However, when you can't find the deals at Target, then I probably was in there just ahead of you. I'm completely hooked on Target, just gotta get this CVS system figured out.

Well if you have another prescription to get filled this week let me know - I have a $30 Rite Aid coupon that CVS will honor but it expires on 1/31.

I am getting the hang of the CVS thing but I have to juggle a squirmy 8 month old when I go so I never get to take my time and figure out the absolute best deal. There is 1 girl who works in there that is really a witch about using coupons but most of the workers like to see how low I can get the total.

Someone definitely hits that CVS often though b/c they are always out of the ECB deals. I never did get any of the Mennen 24/7 and DH really needed some extras for his workout bag. I only got 5 SoyJoys so far and I look at least 2 or 3 times a week.

If I can get DH to watch the boy then we should go together one nite or on the weekend to CVS.

Hi. I am new to CVS ECB and have a question, does every item in the store that will generate ECB have a sign on it ? For example I ' think ' I saw the J&J Qtips but saw nothing about ECB's how do you know what items will generate ECB or it is only the ones in the flyer

Here's another question for ya regular CVSers. Did I imagine this or has someone posted that CVS will honor Walgreen's own store coupons? I haven't tried that one, but seems like I read this somewhere, maybe. If so, is that a corporate policy or a per store policy? I hate the game it depends on who rings you up and who is the mgr and what is their opinion on that given day. Sorry for the rant...it's just frustrating IMO.

I tried to do the razor deal last night with a regular Fusion and it did not generate an ECB for me. Others have reported that it actually has to be the Phenom as well. It is a "new" deal so you can do it again if you did it last week (just make sure to get the Phenom)

I bught the Cottonelle wipes last night and they are not 50% off. They likely will not go to 50% off since the stores can break up the packages and sell those items individually. Over on HCW, there have been a couple reports of people talking to the manages about the 50% off deals and it seems that the TP, J&J, Q-tips and Dial are the only things going to 50% off right now.

Glad I saw this. It made me check my receipt and my razor did not print. I even used a 2 off coupon I guess i will take it back tomorrow and get the right one.

Yep! My store used to let me super-stack starting with the 15/75 and going on down to the 2/10. I could even use multiples as long as they each had a different code. I think my best ever stacking deal was on the last week's thread.

That store will no longer let you use more than 1 printable coupon per transaction but I have been successful in using 1 printable and 1 CRT coupon (5/25) per transaction.

My store will accept Rite Aid coupons at the pharmacy for gift cards with prescription transfers but I don't know about using other types of other store coupons for items purchased. That seems to vary by store and by state. We are in MD.
