Both of the CVS's in my area have the scanners so I did scan several items. The Cottonelle scanned at $4.99, the Dial 3 pack scanned at $3.50 (originally $6) and the Q-tips at $2.50....all still gave ECB's. The J&J items did not scan at 50% off, but they did scan differently....I can't remember what the prices are, but say it was originally $5.99....when I scanned it the scanner read $5.99
with Extracare Card $5.97

This happened with several items. I am thinking this is what happens right before the items are clearanced so keep a look-out for further reductions!!

Cottonelle gives $2 ECB's with a limit of 5. I bought 6 packs....so I received $10 ECB's for the 1st 5 packs, but nothing on the 6th pack.

Centrum Cardio has a coupon on the Centrum site, It's $2 off, not one like it says. I have recently been diagnosed with high cholesterol, so I thought I would give it a try. I just bought a bottle at Walgreens with my $1 coupon from the paper, but was looking for a 2nd one so I could get the 4 ecb back. I have no idea what it costs. At Walgreens 60 was 8.99. This bottle is 120 pills. You take 2 a day.

I am hoping to find TP at the store tonight. Q-tips would be good. DH uses a lot of them. my store doesn’t have scanners though

I read somewhere that they were clearancing out the VP at 50% off (YMMV). But it was select items and some of the VP were going to be separated and sold individually at regular price?

No Cottonelle and no Q-tips left here. The other value packs were still regular price until 2/02 so we will see what happens to them after that.

My total today was way off - I actually paid $16 OOP for $62 worth of stuff. I had one of the sweet cashiers who apologized for not being able to let me use more of my printed coupons (I didn't try but he saw the stack I had in my coupon folder). I had my 2 youngest kids with me and it was an unscheduled stop so I always get flustered trying to juggle them with my coupons and cart full of stuff.

Oh well - I actually got things I NEEDED today - things I normally would have purchased anyway like diapers, wipes, paper towels and decaf tea bags so it was still a good deal for me and I came out with $19.29 in ECBs so still technically "ahead".

Today I went in and got:

1 Cottonelle TP Reg $9.99 on sale for $4.99
4 Fructis Shampoo Reg $7.79 each on sale 2/$10
2 stayfree clean ultra thins Reg $3.59 ea on sale for $3.29
used 4 x $1 off Garnier
1 $2 off stayfree
2 X/$X coupons(don't remember which, don't have reciept handy) and ended up paying about $16OOP

But I got back $2 Cottonelle, $3.29 Stayfree and $10 Garnier.

So, paid $16ish, got back $15.29 in ECBs....so basically a wash.

I had spent all my ECBs on need items over the last week or so, so I'm kinda starting fresh again.

Thanks for the heads up on the TP, never would have bought that otherwise. Would have bought more but I just don't have anymore room to store, bought 2 of them a week or so ago already. My stores never did get the Qtips so I'm out of luck there. The thing I'd like to see go on clearance would be the flushable wipes, I'm gonna go scan them on Weds and see what they're ringing..I might pick up the dial too, that's a really great deal!

I tried to do the razor deal last night with a regular Fusion and it did not generate an ECB for me. Others have reported that it actually has to be the Phenom as well. It is a "new" deal so you can do it again if you did it last week (just make sure to get the Phenom)

I bught the Cottonelle wipes last night and they are not 50% off. They likely will not go to 50% off since the stores can break up the packages and sell those items individually. Over on HCW, there have been a couple reports of people talking to the manages about the 50% off deals and it seems that the TP, J&J, Q-tips and Dial are the only things going to 50% off right now.

Still can't find any Cottonelle - I guess we'll have to wait till next Christmas to wipe - anyway, found the dial 3 pack - went up to pay, cashier rang it up, looked at the register, looked back at the soap, looked at the register, soap, register....you get the idea - she then had to call the manager to verify if she could sell it to me for that price, manager said, yeah, of course, then the cashier was afraid I was also going to get the ecb's back on it as well!! It's like it was coming out of her pocket - the receipt prints and lo and behold the ecb generates, that really put her in a tizzy, her final words to me???

is there a way to tell online how many ecbs you have and if you have reached your limit with items? I have looked and looked on the cvs site but haven't been able to figure that out.

If you have your last receipt from CVS then it will show on the bottom which deals you have completed and which ones have reached their limit.
