CVS disposable camcorder

Has anyone used one of these disposable camcorders? They look really cool and they put them on dvd. Best thing is they fit in your pocket. Boy do I hate carrying around that camera bag.

any opinions on this?

Have not used it but, a local tv station gave a few to people to try.
Most of them liked that it was easy to use, and easy to take with them.
The drawback was the price and it did not take enough movies.
I guess it only has enough space for about 1/2 hour. I could be wrong.
This was on about 3 months ago. So, I am not too sure about that.

I saw them in a magazine last week and it stated they only record 20 minutes.

I was also curious as to how well they worked. Hope we find someone who's used them.

My DH bought my DD one for the last day of school. She thought it was cool but it only lasted 20 minutes and the battery died.

Then you pay another $13 to have it on DVD.

No editing possible.

I've never heard of this but I will look into it further because it's very interesting.......I, too, hate carrying around our camcorder.

The CVS camcorders work pretty well, but you can only take 20 mins. of footage per camcorder. However, you can delete unwanted footage before getting them developed. They are a bit pricy though. Where I live the price is $29.99 for the camcorder then an additional $12.99 to get them developed, which gets you a DVD of the footage. It might be the same price everywhere, I'm not sure. In my opinion, these would be great for birthdays or graduations or things like that, but probably not the best idea at Disney because you're gonna want way more than 20 mins. of footage. I work at a CVS Pharmacy, so I thought I'd help you guys out with this one.
