Cvs deals 4/5-4/11

I don't think that you can use ECB or $x/y coupons on gift cards but I'm not an CVS expert so I'll wait to see what they have to say.

You cannot use ECB's to pay for the Itunes cards. It is being reported that you can use the $X/$XX when purchasing them though.

Can someone who uses a spreadsheet to track their CVS stuff please share it???? Or at least what columns you have on the spreadsheet. Thanks!!!!!

I found a bunch of those quilted Vera Bradley knock offs... for full price. But there were a bunch of workers re-organizing stuff and everything, so hopefully they were marking them down?

I did get wash cloths and dish towels for .39 and .49 though! A 10 pack of wash cloths for .49 and a 5 pack of dish towels for .39.

I think it was good! It didn't make you look like a crazy couponer :-) They did leave out how much you are able to donate though. Still better than the article that was posted here last week. Good job!

Awesome story!! I think they did a great job at not making you crazy. It was well written. I do wish they would have gotten more in about your charity stuff. But it was nice to read.:thumbsup2

Can anyone confirm the limit on the Skintimate shave gel has increased to 2? I reached my limit with 1 last night. But now I'm reading on afullcup.com that today the limit is now 2.

ETA: Are you all aware that there are printable coupons now on CVS.com? Including some CVS coupons. I see a coupon for $2 off CVS brand glucosamine/chondroitin and $1 off cvs brand vit d.

What is Caregivers?

Go to Caregivers marketplace, you can sign up and send in your receipts and they will send you a check for buying certain products. You need to send in 5 receipts at a time and huggies brand is one of the things that work, most of the other products are for the care of the elderly. Cottonelle wet wipes also works for this. You can collect the receipts all year. Last year I ended up having two sent in and got back around $20.

Haha, thanks. I wasn't expecting a giant picture of my head on the front page :scared1: I went to Giant late on Sunday night and it was so weird walking by the rack of papers and seeing my head!

I sent the reporter a quick note letting her know I thought she did a good job. She wrote back and said that with the new format of the paper she couldn't do as extensive of an article as she hoped. She said that I can expect to hear back from them :rotfl2: However, with their new press, the graphics turned out really great.

Great Job Puffkin! I think it is so cool we now have 2 in this group published for their coupon work!

Has anyone been to Riteaid this week? They have a nice deal on the John Frieda shampoo. It is 4/$20, get $10 in rebate, there are $2 off coupons, so $2 for 4 bottles. Plus, throw in $5 more $ of stuff and you can use the $5/$25 coupon.

Thanks for this information. My Mom is moving to Kentucky at the end of the month. And she will be taking care of my 92 year old grandmother. This would be great to get a little something back a couple times a year. Here is the link for anyone that needs it...

Okay. I need help from the Riteaid experts. I have never shopped there using coupons. So, I don't know if they are "friendly" to couponers or not. I have a ton of $1 off menthos coupons to use. Should I expect a problem since the coupon value is more than the product price(.99)? And where can I get the $5/$25 coupon?

See it posted today as well. Limit is definitely 2. I bought my second one tonight and got ECB's and said my limit had been reached.

I had two fun trips today. First store, I got 4 Johnson's Buddy bars for $1.19 each and 2 Excedrin for $1.99 each. Used two $2/2 Johnson's coupons and two $2/1 Excedrin coupons and got out of there for less than a dollar(tax)

Next store, I got 4 more Johnson's buddy bars, 2 more Excedrin, 2 bottles of Wanna Play Cologne(smells JUST like Clinique Happy) and two bottles of same body spray. I had a $10 off $25 fragrance CRT. Perfume was $9.49 each, body spray was $3.99 each. Used the fragrance coupon and 4 $1 coupons off buddy bars and 2 $2/1 Excedrin coupons and got out for less than $20. The perfume and body spray is something I would have bought full price over the next few months anyway, so I feel good about that money spent.

I now have 19 Buddy bars, LOL. I am saving them all for our Operation Christmas Child boxes. They each need a bar of soap and these seem like a better idea than the actual bar soap. I'm gonna get my sister to print out more coupons and either pick more up or give them to me.

Do gift cards count on the $/$$ coupons? If they do, then the $15/$75 isn't bad at all! Let us know if anyone tries that!

This worked for me on Sunday night. Total $78 including the 3 GC for $15 each. Used the $15/$75 with no problem. I am new at this and it never occured to me it might not work for a gc purchase. My out of pocket was over $45 though.

Thanks to everyone for posting all this great info.

I have the $10/$20 on cosmetics and didn't even realize that I could spend $20 on covergirl and then get $10 ECB. :sad2:

If I used the cosmetic one could I also use a $5/$25 if I spent $25 total? Still trying to figure out the exact rules.

In the April issue of Good Housekeeping there is a page of CVS coupons--they all say CVS/pharmacy at the bottom and start with an "05". All are $1 off and expire 4/30/2009. Included are: Curel, Physicians Formula, Nivea, Fruitopia, Eucerin and Essence of Beauty. In other parts of the magazine are 2 (on different page) $2.00 off of Simple Green and one for $1.00 off of Laura's Lean Beef Steak.

I visit here often and appreciate everyone's hard work and great tips. I don't usually have much to add as I'm usually just copying what all of you are doing, but I hope this helps someone.

mumto3girls, thanks for posting the tip about good housekeeping! I was just going to post that. there is a eucerin deal going on, buy $15 get 5 ecbs...this wasn't advertised in the weekly ads. you can get coupons off the eucerin website, and also use the coupon in good housekeeping. i got the good housekeeping just for the coupons! oh that and uh, michael j.fox!! my childhood heartthrob (sigh)

I have not found them to be as friendly to coupons as CVS. You won't have a problem with the mentos coupons though they probably will grumble at marking them down to .99.

I have a problem with any of the printed coupons, even ones from their own site or ones they email me. I get the "it has to be in color ink" spiel all the time. I rarely use printed coupons there now unless I am in the mood to argue. I pretty much only do the deals that have regular coupons for.

Don't forget to do the bounty. It is .99 and you can use the $1 coupon from this weeks PG insert for free towels!

I used to not bother with Rite aid much either but the deals are so good this week. They also have the olay bar soap for 2.50 with the $2 P & G Q it is only $.50. The halls are a good deal too, .50 after Q. Also, most of the cashiers here have changed and seem to be more coupon friendly. Maybe b/c the company is having so much trouble or b/c more people are couponing now with the economy the way it is?

Another deal there is a $25 giftcard if you spend $50 on all kinds of allergy meds/nosespray. (check their monthly circular for what is included) I am so excited about this b/c my husband's nosespray is included, which never goes on sale.

There are also 2 covergirl Q's in the P&G saver making this a $5 moneymaker.

I think you should be able to use the $5/$25 too. Just give that one first.
