Cvs 11/22-11/29

My CVS just got a scanner too!! After hearing you all talk about them for so long it was lovely to see one in my local store:cool1:

Hey guys! Anyone excited about tomorrow? I didn't see a seperate BF thread.....

Last night I got all my coupons pulled and organized. I broke down all my transactions and clipped each set of coupons together (for both Rite Aid and CVS). Should be good to go as long as they have everything! I plan to rush through the store and load up my cart and then break down the transactions at the register. That is what I did last year and worked great. I currently have no $x/$xx coupons but I am going to swing by the scanner today on the off chance I might get one. If I do (or get an email), i will have to reconfigure my transactions tonight.

CVS isn't as great as last year, but Rite Aid is a bit better. Altogether though should be a great day!!!!

Is there any chance you'd want to share with us your separate transactions? I'm a little overwhelmed and would be very grateful! Last year I got most of the deals, but was still fairly new, and bought most together. Still got all the ECBs but they all expired the same day and there were so many! So this time, would like to break them down. (I learned that from all of you! :thumbsup2)

Also, is there a Rite Aid thread here? Did I miss it?

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I think I am skipping BF at CVS this year, I just can't seem to get recovered here. I wish you all good luck and great stock and Happy Thanksgiving! I ♥ my CVS friends more than they'll ever know!

I'll try to post tonight. I have it all written out at home. I don't think there is a seperate Rite Aid thread on here, I usually just post my deals there in this thread for those who are interested.

 LanaJae, so sorry to hear you aren't recovering as quickly. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well!!!!

OK. Here is my plan for tomorrow (Thanksgiving). I have about $23 in ECB.

Schick quattro titanium blades $9.99
2 x Colgate Total advanced toothpaste $2.88
2 x Colgate 360 Toothbrush $2.99
St. Ives Body wash $3.99
Degree Ultra clear deoderant $4
Snickers King Size candy bar $1.59
Total = $31.31

-$2 schick quattro titanium refill
-$1 colgate toothpaste
-.75 colgate toothpaste
-$1 colgate 360 actiflex toothbrush
-$1 colgate 360 actiflex toothbrush
-$1 St. Ives body wash
-$1.25 Degree ultra clear

= $23.31

Pay with $17.98 + $4 + $1 ECB

= 0.33 + tax OOP

Get back $8 + $2 + $2 + $2 + $2 + $3 + $4 + $1.59 = $24.59 in ECB

Transaction #2:

Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion $7.99
Earbuds $6.99
2 x Bic Soleil razors $6.99
Reeses .89
Softsoap .99
Total = $30.84

- $1.50 Vaseline
-$2 Bic
-$2 Bic
-.40 Softsoap

= $24.94

Pay with $24.59 ECB from above

= .35 + tax OOP

Get back $7.99 + $6.99 + $5 + $5 + .89 in ECB = $25.87 in ECB

I leave with More ECB than I came with and spent .68 plus tax OOP.

Happy Thanksgiving, LanaJae. Sorry to hear you aren't totally up to snuff yet. I'd volunteer to drive you to CVS but we're heading out of town tomorrow. I thought about heading to the new Woodbury store as we headed east on I94 but DH would probably think I'd lost my mind. :crazy2:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OUR CVS BUDDIES! HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING! :flower3:

Thanks for sharing your scenario, Maggie! I had to work all day today so I haven't had a lot of time to think about my CVS trip. This will help a lot! :thumbsup2

Maggie- Thanks for posting your plan for tomorrow! :thumbsup2

LanaJae- Sorry you're not feeling so good , hope you're better soon!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

I hit the 24 hour CVS about 11:30 last night and was ready to check out by 12. They had everything and only 1 other person in the store doing the same thing I was.

The Bic Soleli did not print my ECB on either transaction. It rang up $6.99 so I am not sure what happened. I will go back on Friday to return them or get the bucks.

Hope everybody finds all the deals.

Good morning..

i hit cvs this morning...they had everything in stock - i only did 2 transactions i will finish up in Harrisburgh, PA where we're headed today!

the ecb's did print for the bic razor!

Gobble Gobble!

Have a Safe Holiday Weekend.

Just back....had a great day at Rite Aid and CVS. Everything was in stock at both stores :goodvibes

Only issue I had was the BIC Soleil did not print for me either. I noticed right away so he manually printed them for me. I also thought the Just for Men was $8.99 instead of $8.29 so that messed up my math in my transactions a bit...but I still walked out breaking even for the day! Not too bad since I didn't have any $X/$XX coupons!

I checked mine and my ECB printed for the Bic's. I did four transactions with two different cards. I earned $75 in ECB and use $12 on my GC plus rolled all my ECB so I'm very happy.:goodvibes

Michelle

I did
Earplugs
Vasoline Lotion
Bic Solei
2 toothpastes

Used a 5/30, the $1.50 lotion, a free toothpaste ($2.99) and a $1.50 toothpaste, and the $2 Bic. OOP was $16.xx and I got back $5 ECB, $6.99 ECB, $7.99 ECB and $4 ECB. So I made $ 7!!!

Not bad.
I wanted the toothbrushes, but my coupon wouldn't scan. I tried to do a second transaction on my other card with the 4/20 out of the gift book, but the manager inisted on scanning the coupons himself, and asked me to "hand them all to him" so I did and my 4/20 wouldn't work. I just left that stuff.

I'll go back tomorrow to a friendlier CVS

Robin -- Do you realize the 4/$20 out of the gift book is NOT $4 off of $20 but rather get a $4 ECB when you spend $20? YOu would not be able to tell whether that coupon worked until you saw if the ECB printed.

Yeah :( I went back last night and used it. I did my 2nd card and did another set of earbuds, and 2 toothbrushes and a Vaseline. I was more OOP than I wanted, but I needed to build up my ECBS again. I think I was $16.xx oop but I got back way more ecbs.

I know how you feel, Robin. I had a high out-of-pocket, too, but they still paid me to shop. We were on our way out of town, and I just didn't have time to do multiple transactions/stores. I did one order and got all the stuff I wanted. I got $7 more in ECBs than I paid, so I considered it a success. It was a good shopping trip -- used BOGOF on both free candy bars, bought four bags of Gold Emblem candy for the car trip and even got the not free Cover Girl Amazemint lip gloss I love (BOGOF and a $2.50 coupon made that one a great deal).

I also am examining the CVSing a little bit and have decided not to buy anything there's no way we'll use -- I'll still get things we MIGHT use. ;) So no Just for Men or energy thingies for me.
