Cvs 10/18-10/24

Is the flu quiz still avaliable? I want to do the transformers & I did get the glade coupon.

I've been not CVSing much, my MIL was ailing and passed two weeks ago, so I need to get back to doing it and stock Fil's cabinets

OK so I went and spent too much at CVS today. Mainly Candy.

So on Tuseday I have to get Transformers. I have the $10 coupon, I have a 3/15, and $12 ECBs.

Will I be able to use the $10 and $3/15 together? If not I'm cool b/c I have more than enough ECBs.

If I ahve to use the $12 I plan to do the toothpaste and get the bagtag.

:goodvibes - Had to rescue this before it went to page 3 again! But while I am at it I have a question - does anyone know if the $4.00 AirWick Mini I- Motion coupons will beep if I use them on the standard Air Wick mini unit? I can't seem to find any coupons on the standard units, only the i motions. I'm sure somebody had tried this... TIA!

Is there a mini-iMotion and a regular big one? If so, the $4 coupon will NOT beep on the mini. I remember a few weeks ago someone posted about it not beeping on hotcouponworld and the mods took the post down. So, it kind of stuck in my head.

But I did not do it personally, so I am only going by what was posted.

I believe they call it a compact I-Motion, so maybe it would not work. My CVS is great about accepting coupons, so I really hate to try it and have it beep - even though they would probably just push it through for me I don't want to get anyone in trouble and I definitely do not want to raise any red flags on myself.:goodvibes If someone does try it please tell us how it goes!

I have a quick question on Rite Aid. What does "All Single Check rebates on this page are valid 10/18 - 10/24 only"

Sorry, I'm new to Rite Aid and can't quite figure that out.

TIA!!!!

The items must be purchased between those dates to qualify for the rebate. If you purchase the products on 10/24 but don't enter your receipt until 10/26, that is fine.

You can only claim your rebate check ONCE a month though, so if you want to do any of the deals after the 24th, do NOT claim your check yet!!!!

Thanks puffkin!

They were throwing me off with that wording. I started thinking I had to enter/claim them by those dates.

I had a great day. IF I was patient I probably could've gotten $3 of free stuff.

Transformers DVD $20
2 bags of much needed cough drops $2
2 Snacksize candy bars $2
A bag tag $1

- $3/15 coupon
- $7 ECB candle
- $5 ECD candy deal
- $10 TF coupon

0.98 for tax!!! Yippeee

Now I ordered the transformer pizza tonihgt from Papa Johns so we could have a TF night. So the $3 coupon will be a little late. Oh and I got $5 ECB for completing the candy deal. Didn't quite complete it before something was inelegible but the cashier pushed it through and I got 5 on Sunday.

Now what to do with my $5 LOL:rotfl:

I did the P & G stuff to get the $10 off Transformers. I've got the Papa Jon's coupong and that, I'm hoping to get an emailed 5/25 this weekend. So the movie would be $20, I can add $5 worth of free stuff, do the 5/25, use my $3 coupon and my $10 coupon. I already did the free glade. I may add in the bag tag and some candy

One of my CVSs had the Glade Diffuser in a front bin along with the bigger, solid Glade candles too, with the sign that appeared BOTH received the 6,99 ECB. I wanted the Diffuser and forgot to ask once I go to the checkout.
Have you seen that anywhere?

Yes, you can buy either one and get the $6.99 ECB's for either one. :thumbsup2

with the proctor and Gamble deal do you guys think I can buy the smaller tide instead of the one pictured in the ad and still get the Transformer for 9.99? I do know i have to have 25.00 in P&G

No, it has to be the items shown. I got the smaller Cascade and Dawn by mistake and they didn't count. I had to return them and rebuy the correct sizes.

Wow, this was almost on page 3!? :confused3

Ok, strange question kinda...

So I tried to use the $3 coupon from that Long Island (I think) magazine, and the clerk couldn't tell what the first number was. She fiddled around and keyed it in somehow, but now that I look at it too, I can't tell either because it printed really fuzzy! Started to ask her but she was chatting away about something else. I know this was discussed when it first came out, but, do any of you have a good copy, and can tell me what the first number is? Thanks!

Sorry to quote myself :) but does anyone have a good copy and can read the first number?

Also, it appears the flu test / coupon on the cvs site is gone :( Anyone see it anywhere?

This is how I read that coupon:

4 88040 00000 4

I think all the links to the flu quiz are dead now, as of yesterday.

I thought I would try to get back in the saddle today but it didn't go very well, first I got ripped off at Target trying to do a Glade deal there (prices not ringing correctly, entering coupon values wrong, telling me I could only use 1 of each type of coupon, etc.). So I lost a little over $8 there.

I did well at Walgreens though, I have $55 in RRs after spending about $12 OOP. Looks like they have lots of freebies next week to roll into. Walgreens still hurts my brain though.

At CVS, I did this - not a great deal, but I had to get in a store where people are nice to me after doing Target/Walgreens:

$20.00 Eight (8) bags of Hershey's miniatures (limit says 6, but they all rang up at $2.50 each)
$5.00 Glade Sense and Spray
-5.00/$25 flu quiz
-5.00 Two (2) buy 3 bags, get 1 free mfgs. for candy
-4.00 Glade mfg.
-5.00 extra buck
$6.00 (earned $5 - so $6.00 actual cost for all that candy)

I had stopped in a few days before to get my Glade soy candle (3-wick were gone :( ) and a new bag tag - love that idea! Made sure they scanned my tag today but I still got my stuff in a plastic sack, I don't see how that's going to work with such limited counter space, but if I get my tag scanned, that's all I care about.

I sure missed everyone while I was sick. I am still having problems with my new teeth and healing and now I developed cellulitis in my eyelid from that terrible abscess so I look like a monster with false teeth - my eyelid is hanging over my eye and is all lumpy. I am outright sick of being sick and getting old! lol

I'm so sorry to hear about all your health issues! I really hope you feel better soon!

I think I'm on the way back up now finally - thanks! I got a good kick in the butt today realizing that I can't do what I did a month ago, but hopefully I'll keep improving. Now I'm just ticked about how badly I was treated at Target when they used to get a lot of our $$ before I learned drugstore shopping.
