Cvs 1/4-1/9

I forget our Rite Aid color, LOL. I didn't make it to RA until tonight so I didn't think I would find much. I ended up with 6 Stayfree using the Bogo coupons so they were all free, two carefree with a $1 off coupon (they are also BOGO), a listerine with a $1 off coupon and two GE reveal 4 packs with two $2 of coupons. I spent $7.50ish OOP and will get $5 in RA rebates. :thumbsup2 I still have more of the Stayfree BOGO coupons so I'm hoping to find another store with them in stock tomorrow.

For anyone needing a prescription filled: Target has a printable coupon for a $10 GC when you fill new prescription or or tranfer a prescription. CVS states on their site that they match competitors Rx coupons. You can print the Target coupon twice. I'm filling a new script for DS tonight and will report back if I had any problems (It's actually a refill but I have to get it renewed every three months so I'm constantly on the lookout for new prescription discount coupons).

ETA - Rite Aid also has two coupons for $25 GC but they are only for a transferred prescription.

Just a little OT here, but since we're sharing good deals, Wags has some pretty good deals this week too. I got Stayfree (2 for $.29), floss (2 for -$.21), Neosporin (2 for -$1.00 after RR), Chips Ahoy (2 for $.08 after RR), and Ritz (2 for -$.02). I've had a good time there this week!!

It isn't happening here, but in some states you can only buy 3 and then 3 again, and I guess the same thing can happen with Soy Joy, I just read about it.

I saw that too after I posted here. One of my cans was different from the others so at first I thought it didn't count at all but it does. I guess my state is being silly! I wonder if I can call customer service to fix it because I really don't want to go back to the store.

I totally forgot about the nivea and I did get the coupons doh. I love their lip moisturizer.

:yay: I am sooo excited. I copied some great deals down and I am off tonight,,Hmmm I think I have no life:confused3 Exicted for CVS????:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey, welcome back LanaJae and thanks, Flaky, for the post!

In Florida, 3 is the maximum number of Oust you can get in one transaction - learned the hard way. I've been using the 5 off 20 to get toilet paper close to free. I feel so much more secure knowing I've got tons of toilet paper in the house - does that make me weird?:lmao:

2 Oust - $8 ( I use round numbers)
1 Cottonelle - $13
1 lightbuls $3
minus $4 (B1G1 oust)
minus $1 GE lightbulb (1/3 insert, can't remember which one)
minus $1 cottonelle (printable that seems gone)
minus $5 off $20 (printable from the Sacramento Bee newspaper)
equals $11, use 10 ecb
$1 oop, get back 10 ecb

I think I may dedicate a while tomorrow to getting SoyJoys. My mom is a social worker and she keeps these in her office for anyone who wants them. We didn't get Nivea coupons this week in our inserts.

I just spent 1 hour I will never get back reading a ridiculously long thread on another website about Walgreens. I'm trying to beat down the temptation to go there tomorrow morning. The deals seems so good, I've learned to love deals, but Walgreens is always so bad...decisions, decisions! (Not to mention free Electrasol)!

DH and I actually had a date night last night, after dinner he asked, what should we do? CVS and Wags! :rotfl: We did!

Wag's (Walgreens) is a bit more complex, but once you figure it out, the possibilities are endless! Although this has been a great week to roll ECB's with the stock up sale at CVS! :worship:

I do some Walgreening, but I don't think its really as good as CVS. I always seem to end up spending more money OOP for the deals at Walgreens. For one thing, their Register Rewards expire so quickly. I lost about $10 RR over Christmas because the RR expired in one week and I threw my back out and couldn't go to the store. They will NOT take expired RR. Also, you need ONE item per coupon. Their RR count as coupons, so if you want to use a manu. coupon and a RR, you need a filler. So you need to buy a lot of fillers. So that adds to your OOP. Plus you can only do one RR deal (per item) at a time. Otherwise you don't get the other RR. (For example, you couldn't buy all 3 Ousts in one transaction like you can at CVS. You need to do them one at a time.) Plus the RRs don't roll. You can't buy one Oust and use that RR to buy the next oust. The next RR wouldn't print. Although you can use a RR from one manufacturer to buy a RR deal from another manufacturer. But then the amounts usually aren't the same, so its not as easy.

Granted, there are some good deals and I do them. I'm just a little more selective about what I buy.

ITA. And also with Rite Aid. By the time I get my rebates I've forgotten what they're for! :rotfl: Yeah its nice to get a little check each month but thats after paying way more OOP than at CVS.

Also, the Rite-Aid guru site-email person always posts her best day ideas on saturday, but the sales start on Sunday! :confused3 And by Saturday, everything's picked over around here. :confused3
