You just can't assume the plane will be on time. One little glitch in the airline schedule like weather, maintenance, etc., and you wouldn't make it on time for the dinner.

Of course it can be done. Don't listen to all the "pessimists" posting on this thread. Checked luggage and small personal items only. NO BIN BAGS. Plane is on time go to your resort. Plane is delayed let DME take your luggage directly to your resort. Your family takes Uber directly to FW. Your plane can be more then 2 hours late and you'll still have no problem. You have the reservation. Might as well go for it.



I wouldn't do it. More relaxing to go to my resort, have an casual meal and unwind.

Thank you so much for the detail in this post. too many variables to make it worth while. Back to the drawing board.

What I do is right down my dates and the meals that I will have so it looks something like this

Saturday 9/15 Dinner
Sunday 9/16 Breakfast
Sunday 9/16 Lunch
Sunday 9/16 Dinner
................ not writing a week out here
Saturday 9/22 Lunch
Saturday 9/22 Dinner
Sunday 9/23 Breakfast (the flight I would take is either the 2 pm or the 6 pm hour one-never again for the 7 am flight because Bell Services knocking at 3:30 am is not for me-I didn't make the arrangements someone else did)

If on dining plan number of nights 8
Then I go back and plug in the type of meal such as
Saturday 9/15 Dinner Counter Service 1 used 7 left
Sunday 9/16 Breakfast Food in room using items brought in luggage and/or a trip to the store (we had actually rented a vehicle for a day a couple of times-but now I would just make other arrangements) plus a snack item later in the morning if needed
Sunday 9/16 Lunch Counter Service 1 used 6 left
Sunday 9/16 Dinner Signature Table 2 used 6 left
...................(keep filling in)
Saturday 9/22 Dinner Table 1 used 0 left
Sunday 9/23 Breakfast Counter 1 used 0 left
2 snack credits left pick up items for the flight such as some mickey rice krispy treats
