Has there been talk of cutting back on Wishes like Fantasmic???? I am looking to go to WDW the week of November 14th and was just checking out the calendar here for the park hours that week and for Wishes it says it is only showing Monday and Wednesday night that week, all the other days say "None" for Wishes. Not even on Friday night??? Is it maybe not set yet or something? :confused3

The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled on the nights in question, thus it will be Holiday Wishes on those nights during the party.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I had NO idea the MVMCPs started that early!

I know the parties have been starting earlier and earlier, but who wants to go to a Christmas party before Thanskgiving?

Yeah, I missed out on Wishes two years ago because of the party.

The snow was flying on Main Street as we left the park a bit past 7:00.

Wow. When do they put the decorations up? The day after Halloween?

I remember when we went in 2004 the MVMCP's didn't start til after Thanksgiving. We went the first week in December and I think to one of the first parties.

Not even then...they actually have a MNSSHP on November 1st, but I'm sure as soon as the party is over they move in and start taking things out and start the prep to start installing the holiday decorations the next night.

It'd be kinda cool/odd if your trip was long enough that your beginning pictures were all Halloween and you last pictures were Christmas pictures

Hi

I am planning a 2 week trip for the end of October/start of November, which means that we could go to MNSSHP on the 1st and MVMCP on the 8th.

Weird!

Does anyone know if they just get the MK Christmas decorations up for the parties in early November or do they do everything...the other parks and resorts too? I know it takes awhile to get everything up everywhere, I'm just wondering when it's full blown Christmas. Trees and decorations up at Epcot and the resorts, shops all Christmas, ect......

The Osbourne Lights in DHS are installed in Late September/Early October.

The Resorts are still decorated around Thanksgiving, I believe. I think other parks decorations/trees begin showing up in early/mid November.

When I was there last year in the beginning of November they had the majority of decorations up for Christmas. I think Epcot was the only place that did not ahve decorations up park wise. I was staying at CBR at there was none up yet.

i think Tracey is right- i think they only do the MK early because of MVMCP, i think all the other parks and resorts are done around thanksgiving. I think the osborne lights were ready in mid november last year though too.

I'm thinking they don't do anything at Epcot until after Food & Wine, which ends on November 14th.

Anyone know when the parades change over to the Christmas ones?

The Castle ice lights begin nightly November 8th.
