My favorite moments have been with my youngest daughter and Stitch. She has been obsessed with him since the movie first came out, and for the longest time when she wouldn't talk to anyone (she is autistic), Stitch could always bring her out of her shell. Definitely Disney Magic at work, IMO! :wizard:

In most pictures of her when she was younger, she was always looking away from the camera, because it was difficult for her to make eye contact. I just loved that these pictures showed her so happy!

BTW, this picture was a spur of the moment event. There was no M&G line, Stitch was just walking over to his spot and snuck up behind her to give her a bear hug! If it had been anyone else in the world, she would have been seriously freaking out. Just one of the many reasons that I love WDW!

I don't have a picture handy, but one that stands out for me is from DD #1s first trip to Disney. She was 17 months old and loved all of the characters, but for some reason (she'd never shown a preference before) she just adored Eeyore. When it was her turn to meet him, she ran right up, wrapped her arms around him, buried her face in the costume, and just would not let go! All of the pictures I have are of her from the back because she wouldn't even turn her face away from him long enough for me to get a shot.

Let's see..

My youngest DD3 likes to give peopke high fives and make them "pound the rock". We met Princess Aurora and DD3 had her "pound the rock". My husband yelled. "Honey we don't pound Princesses"..the guy behind us said "speak for yourself" :lmao:

:rotfl2: HAHAHAAA!!!!

Love all the pictures & stories! I'm adding a few of my own. We had a LOT of great character interaction on DS's first trip when he was 12 months old.

This is one of my favorite interactions! DH was a little worried that DS would not be walking in time for our trip because he was taking awhile to get the hang of it on his own. He'd had this image in his head of DS toddling over to Mickey for a hug and was disappointed that it might not happen. Just a couple weeks before our trip, DS finally figured out how to take more than a few steps on his own without falling, and DH's vision came true! It was one of the cutest things seeing him take those little baby steps up to Mickey and hug him & keep on hugging!

DS & Tigger really hit it off at Crystal Palace! After these pictures were taken, they started the little parade with the kids around the restaurant. DS was dancing in his highchair to the music, and Tigger stopped during the parade to come back and kiss DS on the head again! Luckily DH was videoing the parade and caught it on tape!

This thread should be required reading for anyone who questions why Disney builds so many meet and greets!

If these images come through this was my favorite from our last trip. My DD2 almost 3 had her ice cream stolen by goofy. I got up to get his picture and he sat down in my chair next to dd and slid her ice cream over in front of himself then took her napkin and put it on his front. She thought it was the most hilarious thing ever. She scolded him and he pointed his finger back at her and she was laughing the whole time. then they hugged. she still talks about this months later and tells people goofy stole her ice cream.

Nope, images didn't come through. Does anybody have instructions on how to do this?

I would probably get arrested for this now, but back a few years ago I saw this while standing in line with my Grandchildren. Even though I don't know these people I thought that this picture of that little girl cradled in the bears arms was the cutest thing I had ever seen and couldn't help but take a picture.

Here is Dale trying to figure out just how long my sister's braid actually was at the character breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe at the Grand Californian in Disneyland. What you can't see if that he had his foot up against the side of the booth and just before I snapped the shot he had the braid pulled completely tight like he was pulling on a rope.

We took our 14 month old son to see Mickey and Minne last year. His favorite character has always been Mickey Mouse. His eyes just lit up at the sight of the two of them. The cutest part though, was his interaction with Minnie. She just had him in a fit of giggles.

The next day we went to Epcot and stood in line to see Donald outside of Mexico. The little guy was still asleep while standing in line. When it was our turn, he woke right up. When he saw Donald, He just reached out to give Donald a big hug. That got a collective "aww" from everyone else waiting in line.

My DS, 5, loves Daisy Duck (ask him he'll tell you she's his girlfriend). On our trip when he was 4 he told her he loved her and she totally played along. She told him to text her and call her and the took his hand and walked away to go on a date. It was so cute and he loves the pictures to this day.

This is when he told her he loves her.

This is why I always tell people that it's never too either to take a child to WDW. He won't remember it, but you'll never forget it!

One of my favorite character memories is from Chip and Dale's Harvest Feast. Dale came over and sat down with my son and started being silly. He was tickling him, pretending to take his food, etc. and my son was laughing hysterically. At one point he was even lying down in the booth because he was laughing so hard and Dale never let up. As Dale was leaving the table he started throwing gummy worms at my son! It was great!

Here's our little guy meeting Mickey Mouse for the first time, or as he now calls him "hot dog"

And here he is waking up to see Senor Donald Duck, and lunging out to give him a hug.
