On a recent trip, my 3.5 yr old DS referred to the "Tower of Terrik" and "Muphoon Lagoon".

He also thinks that Cinderella's Castle is called The Magic Kingdon and that Spaceship Earth is called Epcot.

my daughter loves to go to 'Epricot' - she said that to the Fairy Godmother at cinderella's breakfast, and the Fairy Godmother had quite a chuckle and said to her 'I can't say that half as nicely as you do'

My 6yo DD refers to Epcot, as the "big golf ball".

She makes me and my DH laugh everytime.

DD3 sometimes refers to AK as Magic Animal Kingdom:p

First time we went to WDW with DS (5 at the time) he exclaimed loudly "I can't belive we are ACTUALLY standing on MAIN ST. U.S.A"
And now as we are planning our second trip in Nov to celebrate his 6th birthday he tells everyone.. "Finally, I'll be tall enough for the ROCKIN Roller Coaster. I've waited YEARS!"
:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Last summer while waiting in line for the Universe of Energy my then 3yo DS was playing with a trash can. I told him to stop playing with the trashcan because it was dirty. He looked at it thoughtfully and pointed a finger at the front and said "P-U-S-H.... Trash!!"

When my ds #4 was 2 he couldn't say dinosaurs at AK, so he kept referring to his dinosaur hand toy that he received there as his dinaho!! It was too funny!

When my DD was younger, we had a cat named Aunt Bea. So, the song through Pirates of the Carribean goes: "Yo, ho, yo, ho, a pirate's like Aunt Bea!" (. . . a pirate's life for me.)

When DD was 4 years old(now 10), I guess we over hyped the whole Mickey and Disney stuff too much. For a few weeks we told both DDs how great it was and how beautiful the castle will look decorated as a cake! Well, just when we were landing, DD looks out the window slowing scoping the area back and forth while clinging onto the window. She then turns to us and says, "This isn't a very good DisneyWorld". She had 4 rows of people laughing out loud!

Ever since our recent visit to Epcot, DS3 calls Fig Newtons "Figments"!

When ds was 3 we went to Disneyland. While watching the fireworks one evening he was crying, I asked what was wrong. The answer I got shocked me. He said "it is just so beautiful". You could have knocked me over with a feather. This is now the boy who doesn't care if we go to Disneyworld:(

My 5 year old (now 9) wanted to meet Allison... you know Allison Wonderland (Alice in Wonderland)!

While in the castle for the princess breakfast, she asked me if she could go ask Cinderella where the bathroom was. She said "since it is her castle, she'll now". She walked across the restaurant and I watched as Cinderella gave her directions down the spiral staircase...

and some people have to ask why people choose to go to Disney World... I feel so sorry for them!

On my oldest DS first trip, at the age of 2, he was taking in his first disney fireworks show. After the first few went off, he turned to me with a mixed look of awe and concern and said "Daddy, are they cracking the sky?"

Our first trip to WDW in 2002 we had just entered Main Street USA at MK and I looked at my DD-4 yrs. and said, "Where do you want to go first?" She said (without missing a beat) "Let's go to Mall of America!" :)

Also on that same trip, after watching the Celebration show in front of the castle DD asked, "Which window/room is Cimbabella's?" She fully believes that Cinderella lives there! So sweet!

I feel bad for people who won't take their kids 'till they get older!' It is truly so much fun when kids (of all ages) BELIEVE!

My dd, then 5, on her second trip, after watching Illuminations (yet again) says "mommy that was so good, it almost made me cry". I trained her well LOL. I knew then that she gets it, and that I was right in my feelings all along that Disney was a special place.

oooo I just about forgot this...
As we wereabout to leave MK on the last day of our trip this past Feb My son saw Max (Goofy's Son). Well he is a huge fan of the Goofy Movies and so as he is waving goodbye to Max he yells out... "I'll be back for my Birthday, Don't worry! Tell your dad that you can come to my party.. it's at Crystal Palace"
Nothing was planned at that time for this upcoming trip in Nov (his bday). In fact we hadn't even thought about it. Well, needless to say... We got off the plane in Toronto, drove home and started planning for our next trip... for his birthday.

Up until we went to WDW last year, DS (then 4) was looking forward to the "Magip" Kingdom. The first attraction we went on was actually It's A Bug's Life at AKL. Unfortunately this traumatized him within the first 30 seconds what with the bugs "throwing acorns" at him. After that, every ride was met with, "Daddy, will they throw things at me?". Poor kid. I obviously couldn't get him to go on POTC with me so I took DD (2) with me (no problem). When we were done, my DW told me that DS had spent the entire time talking to the parrot sitting on an archway by the entrance; a bit of a one-way conversation I think!

On our last trip to DW, my 5 year old grand daughter had to ride the dinasour ride! Against my advice she decided that she was "big" enough to not be scared. Not!! After getting off the ride as she and I were walking away, my granddaughter told me "the next time I go on that ride will be with my husband." :)

Well, this was not said by anybody with our group but I still think it is adorable.

We were walking into Magic Kingdom with an obviously Jewish family. The father was pushing a stoller and he had a little boy holding on to the bag of his shirt while he was looking around.

Little boy: Abba
Father: What?
Little boy: I love you

About 15 seconds later,

Little boy: Abba
Father: What?
Little boy: I love you

This happened at least 10 times while slowly walking into the Magic Kingdom and under the train stop. I thought it was adorable. The little boy was so obviously awe struck and excited. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!!!

It may be only cute to me but my 3½ year old son turned to me one night and said, "Mommy, I can't wait to go to Disney World." This made me almost cry because I've been planning this vacation since before he was born and we had talked about it only a few times prior. Well, now he says he has to go to Disney World NOW, pleeeeeeeze? Guess I brainwashed him.

My youngest (2) son calls Goofy "Foofy".
