Okay, before I get started, I just want to make it perfectly clear that I am not a towel animal obsessed person. Nor do I pitch a fit if nothing special happens in the room. (If you've read either Ned Land or BostonRob, you'd know why I say that) I just happen to be an average 14yo with a huge amount of stuffed animals. Last Disney trip I took 7. Thank goodness for queens. Anyways, I stayed at AKL for half our trip. I came back one day and my animals were lined up on the two beds and had papered the room between themselves. :rotfl2: I just wondered what other cute stuff mousekeepers might have done. So........anyone else want to pitch in?

Hahaha! That is too cute. I have only stayed at on-site twice and, like you, I haven't expected anything. I haven't gotten anything either because I always leave the Do Not Disturb in the door.

Cute story, thanks for sharing! :wave2:

When I stayed there, they made us a washcloth shirt...and a tie on top of it. Then the next day we got I think it was a bird, and a Mouse... ::MickeyMo ??? And the last day we were there they gave us chocolates. Everytime we stay at ASM, we put our stuffed animals/toys in the window for people to see. And actually it was the mousekeepers that started that tradition!

During one of our stays at the ASMo (our favorite!), they put all the stuffed animals around the cardboard cutout of the pizza (the menu and in-room delivery brochure) having a pizza party. One had the TV remote in it's hand and the TV was on..it was really cute :flower: ::MinnieMo :earsboy: :earsboy: ::MinnieMo

Last year at POR, we came back to the room and they had made swimming pool w/ a slide out of bathtowels. It was on one of the beds and all my DD's stuffed animals were "swimming" and sitting by "the pool" and even sliding down the slide. They also made a little life preserver out of a washcloth and Minnie was wearing it. It was so cute. My DD loved it!! :goodvibes

At ASMO we came back from the parks to find our stuffed mickey, goofy, & minnie watching tv with the remote under mickeys hand.

Last week at AKL we came back to find all 10 of the stuffed characters sitting in the chair looking out the window at the animals.

The cutest thing we had was at POR. We came back to find my DD stuffed animal on the bed, leaning up against the pillow with the TV guide open and the remote in her hand. She was wearing my DD hat, and sunglasses, and there was a dog next to her. the TV was on to the Disney cartoon channel.

Very cute!!

At the poly two weeks ago. The animals were arranged on the day bed when the mousekeeper provided turn down service.

Five years ago, we stayed at ASMo and we had the best mousekeeper ever...My DS was 6.5 and my DD was five...each day their stuffed animals were arranged...the first day, she had them propped up by the window looking out for us to come home....one day she had Mickey holding the menu and Pluto had the phone propped up in his ear....she even took a bar of soap so that the phone was not technically "off the hook". Another day, she had them both propped up at the foot of the bed (elbows to chin and on bellies) with the remote between them and the TV on watching (no less) Disney cartoons....I can't even remember them all, but my children absolutely loved coming back to the room to see what "surprises" she left for them....it was absolutely wonderful....no towel animals needed...

During our honeymoon at WL, we came back to our room to find a towel "person" wearing DW's glasses. We also got a cute washcloth penguin and washcloth bunny. Just made the week that much better.

When we stayed at AKL we got a towel peacock. It was the cutest thing. It had little color dots to represent the different colors of the feathers. They also took dd's stuffed animals and tucked them into bed on the top bunk a couple of days.

We received towel animals everyday at AKL. We had a little pool made up with 3 ducks in it she even glued eyes on them. Our Mousekeeper told me for having young kids in the room we were so clean and organized! Let me say I tipped her big time our last day. My son had a big alligator he bought down there and the mousekeeper took toilet paper from the bathroom and strung it all the way across the room into the alligators mouth! We were so excited to go back to the room everyday! :mickeybar

We came back one day to our room at the Yacht Club to my bunny at the edge of the bed holding the remote (the Disney channel was on) while the elephant was reading the tv guide. They were also tucked in once. And the next last day one was on the cell phone (cell phone flipped open and in paws).
