I used to suffer form cute baby syndrome. THey are so small and soft. Trusting and adorable and when they cry you can hand them to someone else. I wanted that and tHen I had one. Mine was up every hour all night long for 2 months straight and didnt take naps during the day. Gone were my dreams of a cute cuddly baby instead I was almost comatose on sofa from lack of sleep. THat cured me at least for a while. It is good that you know are aware that is what you are feeling and that you are not ready. when you start to think you might be see if you can borrow a baby overnight. That is the best way to figure out if you can take the pain or not
of raising one. Its amazing how used to the puke, pee and other secretions one can get in so short a timespan. But the smiles, giggles and hugs make up for it.
Good luck to you.

THEN back again and blame mommy! UGH!

I laughed recently with my son (15). I took him shopping for new sneakers......those little bitty piggy toes that I used to nibble on are now a size 10! I asked him how such cute little things turned into those huge, stinky "guy" feet!
