Customizing Magic Band in MDE?

I'm trying to customize my Magic Bands in MDE, and I'm having trouble. I don't know if it is something that I've done or if there is a problem with MDE. I have an on-site reservation booked and listed in MDE. I have tickets linked to my account (bought from Undercover Tourist and added). I click on the link to customize my magic bands, and it brings me to a screen where I can see each person in my party and each have two tickets attached to them (one for my upcoming trip and our tickets that were completely used during our 2015 trip). It doesn't give me any option to choose colors or customize our magic bands. Our trip isn't until June, so we aren't past the cut off date. Am I doing something wrong?

I think you may be too early.

ETA: Or the system is glitching.

I kept trying and trying to customize my magic bands for our trip next month. I would always get a screen that said the function wasn’t available right now, to try again later.

A couple days ago, I got an email from Disney telling me to customize my magic bands ASAP so they could mail them to me. Hello, I have been trying to do that for weeks to no avail.

I finally called the IT help desk, and the cm told me it was a “magical enhancement” to make my experience better :). That’s one way to spin an obvious major glitch.

He did something on his end and still couldn’t get my account fixed. He finally just placed my magic band order for me.

I suggest calling. And don’t wait as long as I did hoping that the glitch would work itself Out!
 
I customized my Magic Bands soon after I made my reservation, even though I thought I had read it was too soon. But now I'm having the same issues as the OP, as well as having a bunch of wrong data. I think it's a new "magical enhancement". If they don't fix it soon, I'd call.
 

Yeah, a lot of wonkiness going on with the MB customization page lately it seems.

My trip is in June also. When I made my reservation back in January, I customized my bands the day after I believe with no problems. There have been times though when I couldn't see my bands in the Chrome browser. Try an incognito window on Chrome or try Safari. I've had success with both of those and seeing everything on my MDE.

Thanks for sharing this. We go next month too and I keep getting the same error message.
