Customize ALL of your Magic Bands

So, I customized our magic bands back in November. My husband wants his gray, so I left his alone. I confirmed our mailing address. We leave in 11 days, and we don't have bands. I just called and was told that because I did not customize 1 of our 4, they will not be shipped to us, they will go to the resort. I am so, so disappointed by this. I wanted to decorate the bands for the kids as a surprise, but now I won't be able to do that. And the website won't let me finish customizing it right now, of course. It keeps going to a white screen when I click "done" which is just beyond frustrating.

So. Even if you don't want to customize one of your bands, do it anyway or you won't get any of them before your trip.

We have a couple of gray bands on purpose.
Customizing just means you needed to add a name.
We did and our gray bands were delivered with all the rest.
 
The thing is that it already shows his name. Do I need to change his name if it's already there? I honestly didn't think I needed to do anything else. It is frustrating because it says "Act soon, may ship at any time!!". Why won't they just ship it when it's time to ship, even if you're not "done"? :confused3
 

Thanks for the warning. I just checked all of ours and my son-in-law's said "ready to customize". I went and changed the color to orange, saved it and then went back and changed the color to grey. It now says all the magicbands are customized. We too want to decorate some of ours and I would have been upset if we didn't receive them before we left.
 
We had the same issue. They already had them set to our names and since we wanted grey we just left them alone. Apparently you have to actually go into the customization screen to confirm the grey.
 
We're going next week. One set of bands shipped several weeks before and the other seemed stalled out and wasn't shipping. I ended up calling tech support and they "released a hold" on the bands which was placed there for who knows what reason. I think sometimes people have to call and ask to have them shipped.
 
I called back and talked to someone new. As with most customer service lines, it's all in who you talk to. We are doing a split stay POR/BC. They will be able to get our POR bands to us in time. Which is a huge relief, and more than the first CS rep was able to help arrange. The BC bands will be at the desk for pick up when we check in. But I can decorate 1 set, and that is wonderful. Whew.
 
They are just saying anything now. Wowza.

For others, if your bands are stuck, say that to the normal CM and ask to speak with the Tech IT support people. They will help.
