Hi Everyone,
This is not disney related but I thought I would ask anyway. We are going on a cruise in December for my bil's 60th bday, its a family cruise. I thought it would be fun to get T Shirts made up for everyone, has anyone ordered from a cheap site? I know some people like to do this for Disney family trips.

Thanks so much
Denise

you can get them from Disneydirect.com or Zazzle.com

Or you can get cheap shirts and do them yourself. I did that and It cost maybe 7.00 per shirt.

I just bought iron on transfers at Walmart and found some cute artwork on the internet and it reads...Keri and Lilli's 1st trip to Disney on it...with a pic of daisy and minnie driving a car...then on the back I put each child's name and age so it looks like a baseball jersey on the back with name and number...I was impressed with them and got many compliments on them...

Wow, thanks for the ideas. Can you tell me more about the art you found online? How did you get it onto the T Shirts? Did you get the numbers online also?
Denise

Love your idea for t's. I also wanted to make T's for a Christmas trip and have found clipart on a site. All I want to make is three shirts. Do I have to get permission to use their clipart.
Thanks

We made our own shirts for our 2003 family trip. There were 14 of us, so what I did was make a word search puzzle out of our names, then had a picture of the WDW Castle in the background. My only complaint was by the end of the day, the iron on transfers were peeling in spots.

On our last trip, I ordered from DisneyDirect.com. They were more expensive, but the quality was better.

I love doing matching shirts for trips, it helps keep everyone together. I would hesitate to put kids first names on shirts though, it allows strangers to know what thier name is and if a stranger knows their name - they really aren't a stranger are they?

Yes, that's true. That's why I did the word search. Someone would have had to really study the shirt and figure out the names ;)

I agree. Police always say don'g put your childs name ona their shirts, backpacks, etc, where a stranger can read it.

I got my clipart from magicalears.com there was another dis'er on here who gave me the web site who had made her own shirts.

I have PrintShop Pro on my main computer so I uploaded the images into the program and threw in a little word art and VOILA!!!

To get it on the t-shirt you buy the iron on transfer paper available at your craft store or walmart or an office supply store. It looks just like regular printer paper. Once it prints to your liking you trim around the image and place it where you want it on your shirt and turn your iron on the setting recommended for the paper and iron it on. Be sure to wash the shirt in cold before your wear it or it will be really stiff.

I the ones for the disney trip and I also made a strawberry shortcake on for DD's 1st b-day (it was ADORABLE)...!!
