Custom Boutique Disney Clothing - Advice for a newbie?

Hi everyone,

We are planning a trip to WDW for our two young children (4 & 2). I'd really like to purchase them something special to wear for the trip down to Orlando and during our vacation.

I'm amazed at some of the beautiful designs I have seen here and on other sites (Etsy/Ebay). The custom clothing is just beautiful.

Here's the thing...I've never used Ebay or Etsy and I'm not sure where to start. And, I'm in need of a matching set for a brother and sister. I've seen fabulous stuff for little girls, but have had trouble finding something for my son.

Ideally, I'd like for them to have a little set that says "Disney or Bust" or something like that. I don't want their names on their shirts. It would be neat if I could find a seller who may even be able to hook my husband and I up with the same/similar shirt.

Can anyone recommend any sellers who do boy/girl matching sets? Does anyone have a favorite seller that they could share with me.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by doing this, but if I am -- please PM me with any insights you might have.

I'm just looking for some ideas for custom themed Disney clothing for my kiddos and having a terrible time finding matching stuff that is cute for my son.

I don't make the boutique clothing but have worked with ETSY in my hairbow business. I think your best bet would be to look around, find something you like, and then convo the shop (message them on etsy) and ask about a custom order. Etsy sellers are typically so good about custom orders. I would check shop feedback before placing an order, and always go through paypal so you're protected if something goes wrong. I don't have any particular Etsy seller links for you, but I do feel your pain. I have an eight year old son and a five year old daughter. I've always struggled with finding cute clothes for him. For our trip I plan on doing matching/coordinating outfits. I'm planning on making shirt with either iron-ons or felt appliques. My mom is going to do some sewing for me also. I've had good luck on Etsy with folks doing custom designs. My advice is to find someone who's clothes you like and ask them. Most people are really nice and if they can't do what you want, they won't be offended for you asking.
