Thinking of joining Curves. Just came from 1st time.
Do you like those stations? take all the breaks? feel like you must go in a circuit? does it really only take 30mins each time?

I tried it and quit the day my year obligation was over. Did nothing for me. I don't like people talking to me while I'm working out, and the employees would always have "contests" while you were on the circuit. Very annoying!

So after about 6 months in it, with no improvement, I asked both my ob/gyn and my GP what they thought of Curves. Both said that they would never recommend Curves. It really only helps those who have had no physical activity up to that point. It does get them up and moving, and the pounds just roll off. But for someone who has a regular walking regimen or even more than that, it isn't going to help.

I'm now back to walking 3 miles at least 3 times a week, and am doing much better on weight loss.
