Curves Diet or WW -- Help me decide!

I know I can get alot of good info from all those doing WW. My dilemna is this: I am getting bored with my Curves diet. I have been doing really good on it and working out at Curves religiously (except in Dec). I have lost 35+ lbs and a bunch of inches :cheer2: thanks to it but I am beginning to really want to eat some different things, even if it is just fresh fruit. I am limited to 120 carbs/day and many fruits are loaded with carbs.

I just compared my current journals with my mom's WW info from a few years ago and found most days were about 20-24 points plus I would have had credit for 2 activity pts. I am just wondering if anyone has any experience in changing diets when one is still working just for the variety?

I am also wondering from any WW vets, what are flex points and how do they work? And, can you still "bank" points from day to day? I've gotten from another post that my point goal would be 26. I know I won't be joining WW as mom is a life member I think and has all the info, although it's a few years old.

Please help, I am really confused. :confused3 I plan to continue going to Curves no matter what I decide.

Thanks for any opinions.

I don't know that much about the curves diet, but I am doing WW so I can answer some of your questions about that. You no longer "bank" points. Instead you have a certain number of points per day (mine is 26), and then you have 35 "flex" points to use however you want. So if I decide that I want something extra one day but I've used up my 26 daily points I can eat the extra thing and use my flex points. It says in the Week 1 material that they give you at the WW meetings that "you can use the flex points a little at a time, not at all, or all at once, like for a special occasion".

I really like WW because I don't want any diet that says "You can't have this food at all" With WW you can eat a little bit of whatever you want as long as you watch your portion and just count those points! Hope that I've helped a little! Let us know what you decide!! :goodvibes

Thanks blueeyes, you helped a lot with the WW info. I am leaning towards using WW and seeing how it affects me, maybe it will even help me, I'll definately get more calories than now, but I am allowed about 1600 and am lucky to hit 1200 many days.

Anyone else with any opinions?

i have never tried the Curves diet, i'm better with making my own choices so i don't feel deprived. that's why i'm a Flex Plan kinda girl. BUT -- i think any WW plan works and if one works for you than how can that be wrong? there are lots of WISHers 'unofficially' on WW (i was until i bit the bullet this January b/c i personally needed something to kickstart myself and paying for it and all access seemed like a good thing to try) Banking and FP aren't that different, just a different way of tracking the numbers. what sounds 'fun' to you? what seems do-able? pick the one that you really LIKE and want to try!

That makes a lot of sense, thanks ohMom. I did try counting pts today. Went well, I'm anxious/nervous to see the scale in a few days to see what happens.
