Ok..I might be the biggest dummy on the planet. Please only silently agree. I have asked and read and read and asked.

This fast pass thing just won't sink in. I don't know what my problem is. People I have asked that I call my friends have told me conflicting info...which is making it worse. This is my excuse.

I have 5 people in my party. We are allowed to have separate fast passes right? For example...My son and I do not ride Tot...my dh and daughters do. Can I make a different fast pass for my son and I?


I know it's a horribly stupid question. You can string me up if you like. I have read Mesaboy's thread over and over . Maybe I only understand Mommy speak or something.

Yes, you can have different FP for different members of your party!

When we went in May, 2 members of our party had a Space Mountain FP at the same time as the other 4 had FP to meet Ariel at her Grotto.

What you'll need to do to accomplish this is to make your FastPass+ selections for all 5 of you first. I recommend choosing the more difficult to find Attractions first too - just do them all the same for starters. Once you've gotten them secured for all 5 of you, you can go in on your computer and modify the ones for you and your son by editing your plans - you'll see the option to change the Attraction itself or to just change the time. You'll find it really easy to do this as you'll be able to pick the members of the party that you want to change. It's really handy!

It's because the children eat our brains. We can't help it. The children sneak into our rooms at night and eat our brains and then how can we POSSIBLY be expected to know this stuff?

I was confused about HOW to do some of our rides separate and some of them together but got help here so passing that on...not sure my method is the "best" but it works for me. And our case is the same....no way in blazes will I ever go near ToT.....nor will one of my daughters (lets call her A), but the other daughter (C for Crazy), she could ride it all day and be happy.

So...I do it this way:

Make these for all 3 of us:
Toy Story
Star Tours
Tower of Terror

Get your times set for these three. THEN, go to ToT and choose "Change experience".....it will give you choices of what is available.....for us, we usually choose Little Mermaid.....so choose Little Mermaid and it will then show you times BUT IT WILL ALSO show you the names of all the people....UNMARK any that you want to KEEP ToT (remember we asked to "Change experience"). So Daughter C is unchecked....Daughter A and I are marked and we choose a time for Little Mermaid (for us we choose one as close as possible to C's ToT, but you don't have to do that). Pick your time and finish. Now when you get back to the page that lists all of them you'll see FOUR passes listed, but of course, closer inspection you'll see that C has ToT alone and A and I have Little Mermaid.

haha..I feel like such a maroon. I am telling you. This changes everything!!

I did make all the fastpasses already except Epcot which is tonight. I go in and change the times all the time because I am crazy and it makes me feel like I am doing something. It's satisfying to say ...Hey Disney..I want to go at THIS time , not the time you want me too...so nanny nanny boo boo.

So I have :

AK: Everest.. son and I won't ride it. But I might just keep it and let my daughters (A for a little crazy and what do you know.. C for crazy too!) ride twice by using ds and my mb.
Kali... for the boy who is afraid of most rides
Dinosaur... well ds went on this and it scared the poopies out of him(not literally thank goodness). I am a scaredy cat too so I won't go on it. But now I can change it to something he and I will do..! I just don't know what yet! But I will figure it out!

Toy Story ..woohoo.. everyone will go on that
Tot... Dd A who is only a little crazy will not go on this ..ever. So there are 3 of us who won't ride it.. woohoo!! Now I gotta figure out an alternative.
Star Tours: Eh .. I don't ride this..do I ride anything? But everyone else will... so I will just sit and watch the peeps. Can I use my fp for free food?

MK: Peter pan...hope that is a good one. I told the kids and husband we were riding that and I got FP! Woohoo!! Crickets.
Space mt...Ds won't ride it ..I don't think. I will ..i don't know why... But im usually the one hanging with the boy... maybe I can find something else for us to do
7 mines: Got a laaaate time for this...wanted a fourth fp. Thought about dropping it for Big thunder or something. Maybe the boy and I can do buzz. I would try to drag him to a character picture but think he would strike.

Epcot: TBD! The excitement! Test track for sure..we all ride that one. Then... - __ - Don't know! Gotta study that one tonight..

In my family EPCOT is all about Soarin......they do the single rider line for Test Track so we don't have to use a precious Tier 1 on it. Me...I prefer to do the driving, not the designing, so I people watch for free. Hmmm...maybe if I was willing to use a FP, Disney would put a few of the benches back. I could get a FP to sit at the one near Test Track while they go round and round?

As for AK....maybe try one of the shows....Lion King is really wonderfully done....Nemo is just plain fun.

We are all seeing lion king.. finding Nemo might be hard to talk the boy into . I made him watch the little mermaid show. You know the grumpy cat? Think of him with glasses. ..that was my son. Between me and my two daughters, he is also frozened out. Wait until he sees what we are going to in dhs..lol.
