Wow, I'm so impressed! It's my first time so I'll just share a few things from my first day.

I had called ahead and requested fireworks view.....so when we checked in there was already a note on our reservation. I was hoping for building 5 since I have heard so many great things. I was told that a fireworks view from bldg 4 or 5 would be very hard to get. I mentioned we would be happy to wait a few hours. Well, we ended up with a firework/lakeview from Bldg. 3 - I wasn't sure how happy we'd be with this view, but the Illuminations show just ended and I have to say we were quite impressed sitting on our balcony.

The bad part is we can't see MK fireworks, which is really okay with us since it's not as close. We are also not close to the lazy river, yet we have pool with a slide at our building. We plan to take a short stroll over to the lazy river tomorrow.

Overall, we are all so pleased with this resort.

Oh that sounds excellent. I am jealous i have always wanted to stay at that resort. it looks beautiful on the web:goodvibes enjoy your stay. post some pix if you can

What is the best way to rent from here? The rates on the website seem so high if I recall right. Is it best to try to rent from an owner? Any experience/advice on renting from owners?

How far in advance did you call to make your request? We'll be checking in on Aug 8. Do they charge extra for internet access?

By the way AR81, In my opinion, renting from an owner is much cheaper than renting direct.

Many of us here on the DIS use Ken Price at vacationupgrades.com. He is great, reliable and professional. :thumbsup2

Another thumbs up for Ken Price. We got a good and deal AND good service.

We are definitely going back. We were in building 4 over Memorial day. It rained a lot but there are many things to do at the activities center in the main building. It is a quick walk, even from building 4.

I will try and post some pictures .

Yes, I highly recommend using Ken Price. This was my first time and I will definately use him again and again. His prices are unbeatable!!!!

My pictures look similiar to the inside of the condo as Snappy's pictures. I took some more today of the pools and lazy rivers. I will try to post some when I get back. I really LOVE this resort. We are close to everything!!

Off to Epcot for dinner!!

WE're at Bonnet Creek now. We are very happy with the condo and the location can't be beat!
We used Ken Price. He did a fantastic job and made our room request for us. He's very professional and reliable.

We just got back from spending 10 wonderful nights there at Bonnet Creek..We also were in bldg #3 also ..we were on the 6th floor facing toward the main bldg and we were able to see Illuminations from EPCOT and we were also able to see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom at 10:00 PM each night they were just to the right of Spaceship Earth.. We loved all the activities they had for the kids so my wife and I could have some us time. It was cool being able to have the kids swim or play putt-putt and I was able to have an adult beverage and play poker at the pool. Play money though...IF anyone has any questions feel free to shoot me off a message...

I spoke too soon................we just finished watching the MK fireworks tonight from our balcony in bldg. 3. I just assumed the first night that it wouldn't be possible since we weren't in bldg 4 or 5. I was wrong! We are on the 7th floor and we could see them behind the Epcot ball (spaceship earth). I am so pleased with our condo and plan on never staying anywhere else!!

I thrilled with all the positive reviews! We'll be there in September and we are super excited!!

Used ken price as well, thanks to the various referrals on this board. He was easy to work with. Tug2.net and redweek also had offers that were comparable to Ken, we just ended up getting the deal done with Ken.

My family has been getting weeks at various timeshares for years. Always a 2or 3 bedroom unit. Until this year, we have usually gone the week after T-giving week and have never paid more than $100/night. This year we are paying more because demand is higher T-giving week.

hard to beat deals like this at a hotel.

Just reading all of the posts about Bonnet Creek! Looks like a lovely place.

My family is going to WDW in Sept and we have 2 rooms at Pop Century. After looking at the pics and reading the reviews here, I decided to check and see if there was any availability at Bonnet Creek for a 2 bedroom. I'm patiently waiting for them to get back to me.

Questions: is anyone being hassled to go to a timeshare presentation? And is there daily housekeeping? Just wondering.

If anyone can share anything else about this resort, please let me know. Either PM me or post. I'm interested in hearing all of the +++ to help me make my decision!

No real hassle about the presentation..after we checked in we were told we had to go to another desk to pick up our parking pass and that is where they try to schedule you with a tour in exchange for $75.00 is Disney Dollars or discount rates off of admission tickets..since we are already pass holders we did not need the discounted tickets and we felt that our time was more important than getting $75.00...so no major problems...in reference to the house keeping it cost extra for additional cleaning...I do not know what it cost, we were able to keep out boys in check...We did ask for extra towels and they just dropped them off in the room...

I was looking for a get-away for us for the July 4th Holiday and found some awesome deals for Bonnet Creek and Star Island in the vaction rentals for the Tampa Bay area on Craigs List! I booked Bonnet Creek for an awesome price! I cannot wait. I have wanted to stay there for a long time. I am too excited! :goodvibes

Can someone please tell me if there is internet access from the units or do you have to use the lobby? Also is there a fee.

Thank you so much for sharing all this great info and your pictures. I'll definely remember Ken Price.

It's in the units and it's free. It's not wireless though, at least not the last time I was there. You do have to plug in through the phone system.
