Do you know that renting trades is not allowed by RCI?

Janet is correct---you cannot take anything more than the cost of the exchange fee and guest certificate. If RCI gets wind of it, they will go as far as cancelling the exchange and placing a hold on your RCI account. Posting the rental on common timeshare sites (like redweek) is a really good way to get caught.

Can someone please let know know which grocery store is closest to Bonnet Creek and where it is. We would like to stop there on our way to the resort from the airport. Which Publix is closest? I plan to get a birthday cake there for my daughter to celebrate one night in the room. They have some really nice princess cakes on there. Thanks!

no I didn't know that. thank you for the info.I just bought the timeshare in feb,I know about DVC but not RCI thank you

I was under the impression there was no wireless. However, there is both. I thought maybe the wired would be faster so I started using it. Then my son sat in his bedroom using the wireless and it's the same. So Bonnet Creek has both.

As far as the time share presentation.......I was surprised that we did get a phone call early one morning even after we had said "we'll get back to you" when we got our parking pass. The lady had signed us up for a 7:30 breakfast one morning and called to confirm. We haven't been bothered since though.

The wireless is probalby only "visible" to those close enough to the common areas that support it. I always bring a small travel router (about the size of a deck of cards) to convert wired access to wireless, and enjoy the convenience.

I don't know which Pubix is closest---probably the one up by HGVC. I tend to go to the Winn Dixie just north of hotel plaza blvd off (I think) Palm Parkway. It's a few minutes past goodings, but still quite close, and easy to get to from that corner of WDW.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a travel router, I'll have to look for one.

Glad you love it. I am a BC convert - won't go back to on-site for quite some time!

We leave in 2 weeks and I'm going over the kids' activities schedule. Have you done any and can you tell me if a 2YO could participate in many of them? Thanks!

When you're coming from the airport (using 417), you'll come out and cross 535. If you take a left on 535, there's a Super Wal-Mart not too far down (maybe a mile or so) on the right. Then you'll just come back up 535, take a left on 536 and proceed to Bonnet Creek.
