We arrived late on Monday night, accident added 2 hours to our drive and we finally pulled into AKL at 1AM. Our party consists of myself, DW, DD(6), DD(13 months) and my sister. Paid for a standard view room and did not do online check-in nor did we have any room requests. Needless to say there was no line at check-in
The CM had the package ready and told us we were going to be in room 2345. The room was a good distance from the lobby, not a big deal, we were very excited to fine out that the room had a savanah view
The room was wonderful and clean, asleep by 3AM. When we awoke we headed to the balcony to enjoy our view, we were right across from the Kidani Village fire pit area. So far, there are not many animals early in the AM(7ish), it seems they start strolling through our area around 9. Just in the 2 days, DD has checked off the majority of the animals from the list they gave us
The weather is fantastic, low 80s during the day and around 60 at night. Tuesday we went to Magic Kingdom and it seemed pretty empty, arrived at the castle show 10 minutes before the start and had no problem finding a spot right in front of the castle. Really weird seeing all the construction going on, cannot wait to see all the new attractions in a couple of years
Today we went to Epcot and it was more crowded in the world showcase area with all the food kiosks. Soarin was at an 80 minute wait for most of the day, 45 minutes at around 6pm. Having a great time, but we realized that there is a BIG difference from when we went with our first DD when she was 2 and now with our 2nd DD at 13 month. Our 2nd DD is into wanting to try and walk and we need to hold both her hands, so it's hard on our backs and slow going. She does not want to stay in her stroller for any big length of time. Well thats it for now.
