I dont know if any of you have heard or not....but theres riots all over the UK in major cities....and spreading to smaller cities also....im currently fearing for my life....need some support

I saw it on three different TV stations this morning, but my problem was that they didn't really explain why it was happening. I just saw images and reports on what happened.

Its nothing political...it about attention.... whats sickening its teenagers who are causing it....kids aswell...some even as young as 7 years old...setting fires to cars, buildings etc all over the towns and cities...its crazy

I've been watching the news for the past hour or so. It's terrible. I'm really ashamed to be part of the generation causing all this damage. I'm hoping nobody I know is part of the gang...

I'm glad they haven't spread to me. Closest has been Bromley, which is about a 10-15 minute drive away. I was hearing things from Eltham, but nothing happened there in the end.

Hi i live in the UK also and where im from (southampton) there have been planed riots but nothing of yet. Our job center was smashed up but that was about it.

It originally started because a police officer shot someone in Tottenham. Now I doubt the rioters would even know the name of the guy who was shot.

Currently in South Wales we seem to have escaped riot action although rumours are flying about Cardiff and Newport. Going to Bournemouth/New Forest area for a holiday though- still clear over there and hopefully it'll remain that way.

Violence and fire. My two worst fears.

I know friends who in Devon in The UK. It hasn't hit there yet but I hope the violence stops. Over a Police shooting no less.

These kids are just doing it to stir up trouble not realizing the consequences of their actions. Really sad.
