Current Tables in Wonderland expiration?

I know some changes were made to TiW program (blackouts for certain restaurants during holidays) recently. I am wondering about the expiration date. I have read here they are for 13 months but the TiW website says one year. Which is it? We have trips plannned for oct 2013, Jan 2014 and Nov 2014. Reluctant to purchase in Oct 2013 unless I am certain it will be good through the end of Nov 2014. Thanks.

I know I've seen people quote the 13 months but when we purchased in May this year, ours was for 12 months on the nose. The cast member even emphasized that it was changed to 12 months. If some people are still getting 13 months, I'd love to know the secret.

Are the different dates due to the different mode of purchase?

I vaguely remember a CM explaining the expiration to me one time when I ordered it over the phone (back when it was still called the Disney Dining Experience and it only cost us $65). It has something to do with the day of the month that you buy it on. I "think" if you purchase it in the first half of the month (before the 15th) you get 13 months but if you buy it in the 2nd half it's only good for 12 months. I don't know WHY that is tho. We bought ours on Aug. 10th this year and it is good until Sept. 30th, 2014. If your trip starts during the 2nd half of the month there may be a way to pre-buy it over the phone during the first half of the month and get the 13 months because you BUY IT early. I would call and ask.

Back when you purchased it over the phone and it was mailed to your home, they needed to allow a few weeks to process your request and get the card out to you in the mail. If you purchased early in the month (I'm remembering it as prior to the 8th, in other words during the first week of the month) there was time to get you the card before the end of that month so your TIW card expired at the end of that month plus 12 months.

If you purchased after the 8th of the month, they couldn't guarantee you would get it by the end of the month so they added another month to the expiry date. In other words, the card expired at the end of the month following the month of purchase plus 12 months.

Ex: Purchase on Aug 3, 2009, expiration date was Aug 31, 2010. Purchase on Aug 15, 2009, expiration date was Sep 30, 2009.

Now you purchase the card on site and can use it the same day so they would be justified in giving you an expiration date exactly 12 months away but from the posts here, it looks like they are giving an expiration date of end of the following month plus 12 months. Nice!

It expires on 10/31/14, so we will be able to use it for our several trips, including F&W this year, along with F&W trip for next year. We bought it at guest services at MK.

Where is guest services at MK? We are arriving in the evening staying at BLT on the night of MNSSHP but won't be going to the party. Wondering if guest services is inside or outside the ticket turnstiles. If outside, I can purchase when we arrive. if not I will purchase at AK the next morning...in which case where is guest services at AK?

Bought our most recent TIW card Oct 5, 2012 and it expires Nov 30, 2013. I love that card.

We bought ours last March and the cast member set it to expire 12 months on the dot. I told her I thought it was 13 months and she rudely disagreed.

When we returned home from that trip, I sent an email to guest satisfaction and said it wasn't fair that some are getting them for longer than 12 months etc. They replied and said it should be for 13 months and on my next visit they would fix it and give me fast passes for my trouble.

It's now fixed and we enjoyed our any time fast passes. I get one more trip out of it, which makes me a satisfied customer.
