We are in the park right now. We had an amazing first day. We did Magic Morning and were able to walk onto most rides. Then through out the day we were just enough ahead of the crowds to not have to wait in line for longer than 20 minutes.
About 1100 it started to get much busier. We left the park about 2 and came back for a nap. We slept through the earthquake and found out about it from family who called to check on us.
We went back into the park about 530 most of the rides were reopened and the crowds were nothing. We were able to do Screaming 3 times in a row with about a 5 minute wait.
Then we hit the Electrical Light parade.
Needless to say it was a great day of firsts for my family. My daughters loved Pixie Hollow and I am so proud of my 4 year old who tolerated Space Mountain. I was really nervous about the crowds but they have certainly been tollerable. Thank you to all of your help and suggestions.

I'm glad you're having such a good time! Thank you for the report!

That's so funny that most people who followed the mid-afternoon break advice DID miss the earthquake in the parks! I hadn't thought about that! :)

what earthquake? It was just a minor tragic incident!!!

besides 90% of the guest didn't feel it anyways.
