I was using DVCnews.com but looks like they haven't updated. Anyone have the updated, after the recent increase, direct pricing? Thanks!

Usually they are right on top on all point increases, so this is why I'm not completely convinced it happened. But one brokers website had it going up about $10/point at most resorts.

It does seem odd. I just asked my guide for direct pricing on a single resort. We will see what I get back.

My guide confirmed when I was buying RIV that prices were going up on the other resorts, I did not ask specific prices, but there was an increase. it was mid to late October.

Yesterday I heard the DVC rep in front of Toy Story Land tell someone direct prices were $127 a point right now. I know he's not offering to sell them Vero or HH so something was going on. Either something shady or a huge discount I want in on :)

I think you misunderstood. That’ $127 for a HALF point! Disney’s new strategy is to sell half points so people won’t throw up on the guides shoes when they hear how expensive it it!

:)

Could he have meant starting at that price just to get them to agree to the tour?

Then once there, hit them with how great a deal Rivera is compared to those Spending only $50 ish more a point, be on property and get a contract that lasts 50 years?

Dont know why DVCnews is not updated but here is another site with updated prices
