Can't seem to find it...

Anyone know the current prices for DVC that Disney is charging? Any promotions? What about for "sold out" resorts... what is the price there? And promotions available on the "sold out" resorts?

I'll be in Disney this Thursday (1/24) to sign all the paperwork and officially buy in to AKV. Paying $104 per point. The promotions offered at the time I first started this process (12/15/07) and gave them a deposit was the option of an $8 per point purchased credit/rebate if you bought into AKV or a $10 per point purchased credit/rebate if you bought into SSR OR a one time doubling of your first years points.

Don't know anything about sold out resorts or resales, sorry.

Oh, and there's a 160 pt minimum buy in.

Sorry... There are "never" any promo's for sold out resorts.

The only way to purchase sold out resorts is either through DVC itself when they're available, or timeshare store. Just remember Disney has first right of refusal when purchasing points via a timeshare company. Hope this helps.

I believe the sold out resorts sell in the mid $90 range, at least BCV and BWV do. There should be points for BWV available through Disney but you may have to get on a waiting list for the BCV. OKW may be available as well but I am not sure of the going rate.

There are other resale companies beside Timeshare Store, FWIW, although Timeshare Store has a fantastic reputation and would be high on my list of who I would use.

The main reason I was wondering current pricing on sold out, if anyone knows, is that I know I can do credit card payments and was thinking of paying the whole thing with my card to get soem nice reward points and then pay off the card when I get my bill. I know TSS and others don't usually take credit card... So was just curious the costs between DIsney and resale for compare/contrast.

I know OKW is $96 through Disney right now, that includes the extension to 2057. I think the other 2042 WDW resorts are in the $92 to $96 range, depending upon resort. I think VB and HH are slightly less.

The latest new member prices directly from Disney for sold out resorts that I've seen are:

BCV $101
BWV $98
HHI $92 less $5 promotional discount
OKW $96
VB $92 less $5 promotional discount
VWL $98

all with 160 point minimum buy in.
