I am referring my sister to DVC and they want to go on a tour while down there Jan 15th-31st. When we did the "tour" back in Dec they gave us 25.00 gift cards one for each person including the kids. There were 5 of us...so a total of 125.00! I was wondering whats the current incentive to come tour? We were also given fast passes and a insulated bag. Has anyone toured lately or maybe know someone who has? I am just trying to prepare them so they know what to expect. Thanks in advance!

We got nothing when we toured SSR in Oct, but we are already members. We did get the free Aulani litho, but that was promised without a tour.

Friends of ours "toured" SSR with us the end o November. Everyone got VIP FP cards(3 FPs per card). They bought into BLT and got a new set when then went back to sign the paperwork. No mention of Disney Gift Card. When I signed up years ago, I got $50 for touring. (They still came out ahead)

It varies from day to day, there's no standard incentive. Might be fast passes, might be gift cards, might only be ice cream.

I was at the World December 25-30. We did a 50 point add on, SSR is currently sellng for $99pp. We got 10 "super" fast passes; each pass is good for 3 rides. We wera also given the option of "banking" if you will the fast passes since we added on the day before we were due to leave. For our next trip we have to go to the SSR preview center and pick up as many of the 10 as we want for the trip.

Our guide also said they are preparing the old BLT model rooms with the Grand Floridian rooms but she did not knows when theose would be unveiled.

In October '11 we got 15$ gift cards for doing the tour at Saratoga Springs, and we also got 10 cards with 3 fastpasses. Not sure if the FP cards were because we bought into DVC or not.
