Current offers on 50 point add-on?

Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone knew if there were any special offers for add-ons as small as 50 points. The wife and I are thinking it would be a good idea for us to do so but can only do about 50 points.

We own at SSR and would like to add on there as well.

Any thoughts / ideas?

I believe SSR sold out. We added 50 pts about three months ago and just got the $10 off.

We called Friday afternoon to add 50 pts. Our guide said she thought we could still get the $10.00 off and didn't know for sure about our use year. We have not heard anything back, so right now we're not sure.
Good luck. Oh yeah, we own at Saratoga also, and that's where we want to add the 50pts.

The wife talked with our guide and it kinda made it sound like there was no incentives for add on. That is just slightly hard to believe. He also mentioned how it was about to sell out. That I do believe to a point.

Then of course, the usual mention of AKV and its incentives.
And of course the obligatory "something is going to happen in the next month but Im not allowed to talk about" comment.

I wonder if there is any room for some creative negotiation. Maybe even considering resale.

Of course, I know there is no incentives for, say, a 25 point add on, but it may end up being an option. (OK, who am I kidding... we know we will just end up coming back for more.)

Any other ideas??

If there are no incentive or your UY is not available through Disney then you might as well buy a resale contract and get what you want.

Some guides will tell you that Disney may change their incentives according to how fast they need to sell their memberships left. So with this economy, i bet they are going to tweak AKV and give a better deal to get people to buy. It will probably be a good time to get in. Last year my guide gave me one of those i think there is going to be another new incentive pitch coming up in a month and he was right. They sweetened Saratoga Springs deal. Now it's sold out as people took advantage
