How did you decide how many points to add on? Did you see a point chart yet? If so..can you point me to it?!

If financing... how much $$ down and did they make you pay closing costs?

I'm not buying, but I found the information by going to an old link my guide sent me from a webcast. Its the one that also includes payment amounts.

We're adding on 70 pts. We are going to go every other Dec. so this is plenty for a studio LV. We already have this Dec. booked at BLT. So I will bank this years and book Dec 2014. God Willing. Using the chart the first week in Dec. 6 nights will run us 128 points.

I will be purchasing tomorrow. My guide called me and gave me all the info and said he will be in tomorrow. Haven't decided on the number of points, 135-150. Love the option of 5 in a studio but will probably always do a 1-bedroom. Would love to switch our reservation we have coming this December but there are six of us so we would need a 2-bedroom and its a lot of point.....what to do???

Ok so I did look at the photos and point chart...

Looks nice...like a grandmothers cottage type feeling to me

The points are so high for us. There's 6 of us so the amazing studio that sleeps 5 won't work. A standard view two bedroom even in January is quite high. I guess we'll be skipping it for now and possibly try it out at 7 months when available to see if we like it. My husband thought the VWL felt far removed from the rest of the resort...I bet he'd feel the same way about VGF. BLT will still win for location near MK. The GFV look like they have a decent walk to the monorail and an even longer walk to the boat launch.

Financing...20% down gives a rate of 8% for existing finance customers
10% down gives a rate of 10.5% for existing finance customers

You must pay closing costs...in my situation I am purchasing 100 points. The closing cost was $277 for a single contract, and $342 for 2-50 point contracts which I opted for to be able to down size in the future if necessary.
