Current Incentives & Prices

Just wondering what the current incentives and prices are for BLT and SSR for a DVC member looking to add on 100 points. I'm currently at WDW and would also like to know if the incentives are any better if I personally visit my guide or just inquire from home. Thanks.

The Doorway to Dreams showed me a members only holiday "extra" incentive for each resort. SSR and GCV were the 2 largest discounts getting the price below $95 (from $112) around the 100 point mark.

Maybe this should be its own thread, but I received info on a webcast for a BLT incentive that beat my $115ppt purchase. I've been trying to get my guide to send the invitation to me so I can get the incentive.
As there is no Doorway to Dreams in Western NY (closest is on LI?), are there any other avenues to these incentives? My contract at BLT is at 240 pts, and the rumored $108 would certainly help, especially given the fact that I have to placate my wife and find some OKW points in the near future so we can dual-homebase.

I just got an email from my guide this morning telling me that if I get 180 points at AKL I can take either a $15pp discount bringing it to $97pp or I can pay full price and get 8 WDW annual passes. That's a $2700 savings on the price per point but still a lot more than the typical $80-$90pp you can get resale.

Even if you save a few bucks taking the annual passes over the discount you are still better off going resale.

What about BLT points? I have not been following the resale market at all. What, if any, BLT points are available? If there are some available, what price ranges have people seen? Also, what advantages/disadvantages should I consider with resale of BLT points? Thanks.

At the Merry Mixer, they had extra incentives. Unfortunately, we lost the BLT sheet we had, but I think they had four tiers depending on add-on points purchased.

I forget the point breakdown, but think it was $13 off per point for the higher level. Again not positive on the breakdown, but I do remember it was better than the general incentives at the time.

Check out the Timeshare Store listings. There are not a lot of BLT resales yet, but the ones listed range from $105 down to $90.

I wish there was a good add on incentive for BLT, about the only thing that would interest me in purchasing right now.
