Current EMH Schedule

Our trip coincides with the planned change to the EMH, which runs from May 9-22. We arrive on May 7 and leave on May 10.

Is the current EMH schedule still operative for May 7 and 8? i.e. AK opens early on May 7 and MGM opens early on May 8?

The rumored change is really making it difficult to plan our activities! Disney should have given everyone at least a month's notice before implementing this change!

For April 16-30, May 1-8, and May 23-31 Extra Magic Hours are morning only and as follows:

Sunday - Magic Kingdom
Monday - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Epcot
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios

From May 9 through May 22, the Extra Magic Hour schedule will be:

Sunday - Epcot (evening)
Monday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (morning)
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Wednesday - Epcot (morning); Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thursday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (evening)
Friday - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios (morning)

do we know if the published closing times have changed at all? that is, for example, the mk is scheduled to close to the public at 830 pm, and the nighttime emh is after that?
