They have lost their minds!!!!!

The Southern Caribbean cruises are out of this world ridiculous. But some of the others aren't really that bad. It's all a matter of perspective I guess.

THIS IS INSANITY! I just did a cost comparison because I so wanted to take the Magic out of NYC in October. DCL prices start at $1,774 per person for an oceanview. Carnival's prices start at $379 per person. Same room type, same cruise, same time frame! So if you sailed on Disney you'd be paying more than $1,300 extra per person for a simple 5-night cruise! And we had a great time on Carnival -- their rooms are much bigger than Disney's and we loved the decor. Their ocean view windows are big enough to sit in.

I think we lucked out and got the 6 night NYC-San Juan repo for $2,600 for 3 of us. It's an inside and it is in November but the ports are good and there are enough sea days for what will likely be our last Disney cruise.

Has anyone made the connection of higher prices to the Wonder dry dock? When is she coming back online?
