When we did our Med. cruise a few years ago there was a cast member that was at the Leaning Tower of Pisa with us. She asked me to take some pictures of her since she was sightseeing solo.

When we got to Naples she and a couple of other cast members were looking for transportation to Pompeii as were we (me-single mom with younger daughter). We recognized each other and found some transportation together which I think made us all feel a bit more comfortable (even though we didn't actually know each other). I could tell she was just as excited as me to be experiencing these places.

For a lot of us, having the opportunity to travel while working is a big reason why we are here

Do you know which cruises you can meet Mulan? I see pics on fb and feel like it varies. I think some people had her on their Alaska cruise but when I went on mine she wasn't there.

There is never any guarantee which Princesses will be onboard when you cruise, even if people have said she was on their cruise earlier in the year, with Cast changes, Princesses can also change.
I think that she may be on the Fantasy right now, I’ll double check that

It sounds very full on. No wonder @Mags2002 is going to the park.
Is there anything that guests can do to make the characters lives a bit easier? (Apart from not being rude and complaining about everything)

Guests come on a Disney cruise (or any Disney vacation) expecting some magic.
In reality, kindness is magic and it would help if more Guests remembered that

I have a friend (current camp counselor and lifeguard and a really lovely person!) who I think would be a great Cruise Line Cast Member, and I know she's interested. However, it seems that DCL is not hiring for most roles. Do you think that will change? Or not until closer to the time that the Wish launches? Thanks!

Sounds like your friend would be perfect for a role with DCL!
Would she prefer to work in Youth Activities or as a lifeguard? There are a lot more positions in YA and they come up more often.
People always come and go on ships and DCL will never know when someone won’t want to come back for another contract. Definitely keep an eye out though because yes they will need to fill more roles once the Treasure is sailing, and Adventure too!

Nope we don’t pay to do laundry. There are a limited number of washers and dryers though so it’s like the Hunger Games trying to get one. And then you hope someone else hasn’t taken your stuff out and dumped it by the time you get back to it. B x
