We'll be there Sept 6th-14th and would like to book free dining for next year, but can't seem to find all the info on it. I know what it is and that it needs to be booked prior to midnight of the day you check out, but what are the details for this year's offer?:confused3 What are the dates, prices, and which DDP (CS or basic DDP)? Can people here in the US get it with the Value resorts or just Mods and above?

Theres like 14 posts about this. Dates for travel for free dine are 8/23- 10/8 of 09. Free basic dining just like this year

Are the value resorts included, or just mods and deluxes?

Well you do not have to be rude to the OP about the amount of posts... I actually havent seen any posts about the dates until this one, so thanks for helping me as well! :wizard:

Look's like you and I will be there at the same time! I will also be looking for the bounceback offer! There was a post on here with the actual flyer it was yellow with a plate picture.

I am getting so anxious to go!

I wasnt being rude. I answered the question while stating there were already multiple threads if they wanted to search to learn more

just to chime in, i thought you were being a little rude too... Threads for helping

Well now I also feel like I have to chime in to say that after you read a lot of his/her posts you'll overlook the blunt posts because mbanks21 rocks with WDW info :thumbsup2

Though I agree his/her posts are sometimes, shall we say, brusque ;) , he/she always has some valuable info to share so please don't take the "short-and-to-the-point" answers personally :goodvibes

Here's a copy of the actual Free Dining BB flyer to help (originally posted by dizneeat, thanks for posting these :worship: ) They advertise the Mods and Deluxes but Values are available also. They also advertise it as 5 night/ 6 day packages, but other length of stays are available. You have to book the package and leave a $200 deposit before checking out (which must be on or before October 24,2008):

HTH!

Thanks for the info! mbanks may be rude to me again, but I still don't see for sure where it says it will be the basic plan (and not the counter service plan) that's being offered though.:confused3 The two main things I wanted to know was which DDP was being offered and if the values were going to be included. I know with the UK plan it was CS at mods and basic plan at deluxes, with an option to upgrade to DxDDP. I just wanted to know if our offer was going to be the same (and yes I know the values were not an option for the UK people this year either).

I have another question????

I am considering getting and annual pass this go round and booking the latest trip in the time line of free dining, so that next year I can book a trip a little earlier get free dining and use my AP pass.

However, I believe I heard you must purchase a one day ticket for the package.

Is this true?

If it is true...do I need to purchase a ticket for each member of my party, if not...can I just purchase a child ticket?

I am just trying to figure out if it would be worth getting the AP.

I do not want to regret how I booked my bounceback, so getting all my questions out of the way

Thanks to my bounceback buddies! for any info

Everyone on the reservation with free dining needs at least a one day base ticket. You can still get your AP and just hold on to the base tickets and use them to renew your passes next year.

Everyone needs to simmer down now

It is the plus dining plan, not the CS plan. Lots of Dis'ers have already booked the bounceback, NOONE has the CS plan

Just wondering if anyone has booked the bounceback at SSR or OKW with the additional 30% off the room as well. Thanks for any info on this.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. This will be the fourth year in a row that we've gone for free dining. I have an AP, so am one of those that have to buy one day park tickets. I don't think I'd deal with the Sept weather, plus buy a park ticket if the free dining offer was just for the CS plan. If it's for the basic plan and they allow you to pay the price difference for the DxDDP, we'll be there again next year it looks like.:cool1: Now to decide where to stay.

when we are talking about "simmering down", is that on the DDP or the QS plan:rotfl2: sizzle sizzle

:rotfl: :rotfl: 'Basic or DxDDP please. I don't do the CS plan:rolleyes: . Although really the CS doesn't look that bad. I'm planning on doing a cheap trip in May and might consider it for convenience. I like having everything paid for before I leave.

we are going oct 11-17... do you know if they will be offereing the bounceback to october poeple??? thanks!

I called today since I booked our package on tuesday but can still change it and the thing with those two vacation villas is you will receive a double discount, 30% off rate and the free dining plan. However the rooms are not released yet so you need to book another room and keep checking for their availability. On thiis plan you can always add days, remove days, upgrade resorts, etc. So just make sure you get a room booked while you are there. Just for an idea on price, I believe a studio at OKW is 285 so you would get 30% off of that rate.

OK, I thought you could only get one discount? How do you get the 30% off OKW or SSR and free dining? Please, please explain in great detail.....teach me! :teacher:

Is it really a great deal if you have an AP and have to buy a one day ticket for each person? Seems like you'll be spending somewhere around $300 on those one day tickets. I guess some savings is better than none, but it doesn't seem fair to the loyal AP holders to make them pay that much. :confused3
