Hi All!

We are seasoned WDW guests and have our breakfast favorites but this January most (all?) are temporarily closed.

For all of you who have been there recently, what were your favorite breakfast meals? We are open to both QS and TS.

TIA!!

Topolino's Terrace was my favorite - by a mile (early Nov trip). And would be even without the characters. From the POG juice, to the basket of pastries (croissants and jam are fantastic!), to the entrees, and oh my goodness the breakfast potatoes. So, so, so good! The characters are really cute - and done in a socially distanced way. Service was great. Impressive views from the deck (there's no seating out there but you can walk out (with your mask)). Resort is lovely overall and easy to hop on the Skyliner from there and start your day.

Available weekends only but the brunch at Wine Bar George is another favorite. The burrata dish is crave-worthy, for sure. And consistently outstanding service and hospitality.

I thought breakfasts at Ale & Compass and Trattoria al Forno (both EPCOT area) were solid and a good option for an EPCOT day but not necessarily something I'd go out of my way for.

In October we did Whispering Canyon Cafe the Cast Members were awesome and the food was great. DH got the Carnivore skillet & I got the Lighter Skillet. Muesli oatmeal was so good, You can share off of each skillet as long as everyone gets a skillet so remember that and share. The Bloody Mary was just ok.

Ale & Compass was also great service and the food was good.

WCC was really good. Also like Kona and GFC and The Wave has a good breakfast too

I’ll have to tell you, we were truly surprised by Chef Mickey’s a couple weeks ago!! Food was hot and came out quickly. Everything was delicious and there was a lot of it!! Our server, I wish I remembered her name, was excellent. We haven’t been back in years, we had tried breakfast twice prior, as well as dinner, and not one of those dining experiences were even half as good as this trip. I love that they serve you, and without the characters, it was actually a really nice atmosphere. We had a window seat overlooking MK. I just can’t say enough good things about it. Characters come back the 16th, I believe she said.

Eggs Benedict at the Wave was very good. Pancakes at Olivia's were very good.

We have a few we really enjoy:
Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge- we each get a different skillet and then are able to share them!
The Wave- eggs benedict here were great. We also really liked the breakfast potatoes were a mix of regular & sweet potato. We went early and were able to be in and out in around 30 minutes to make it to MK before rope drop!
Trattoria al Forno- I went here twice in a week it was so good! The Italian omelet was amazing as were the poached eggs. They had big portions for the price.
Grand Floridian Cafe- I love their cheesy hash brown casserole

We went to Ale & Compass (both the quick service & table service) and felt both were lacking. At the quick service market, my breakfast sandwich took a good 30 minutes to be warmed up. It seemed they just kept pushing in person orders to the back and prioritizing mobile orders (they had been doing opposite at Boardwalk Bakery the day before which is why we ordered in person). I wish I had gotten the breakfast bowl or waffles instead as they seemed a lot faster. At table service- the food was just ok. We ordered two different entrees and both said same thing. Service was pretty slow and we were seated directly next to another family.

I've heard amazing things about Wine Bar George brunch and am excited to finally try it out next weekend!

100% agree...this was the nicest breakfast I have had on Disney property in a long time.
