Current advantages of onsite hotel stay?

What do you do? Book via a 3rd party?

No , I book using convention rates I attend like Dapper Day , or rent Disney Vacation Club points from members to stay in a studio.
I also sometimes find confirmed reservations for DVC people can't use on dedicated webistes or social media groups.

Now that motels across the street can run $200 - $250 on average..an extra $250 a night is a no brainer for me. Sometimes Magic Key holder or Disney Visa discounts are available too.

Thanks, yeah fair enough. I would definitely do DVC again but they won't for just a single night in July (fair enough!). For a longer stay, well worth it.
