Current/Active AP upgrade to discount PAP - anyone try it yet?

Hi All,

I'm interested to know if anyone has been successful with the "upgrade" from an existing/active AP to the DVC discounted PAP. We are AP holders and are heading down on Sunday. I was planning on trying the trade-in and paying the $12.50 difference between the discounted new PAP rate and what we paid for the old non-discounted APs...just curious if anyone has done this with success yet.

Yes, there have been a couple of posts from folks who have done it. They actually got back $5.32! Pretty cool! I am going to be upgrading when we arrive for our May trip!

Hi. I was @ Disn until yda-upgraded my new AP to the premium AP , Disney gave me $5.35 back!! Then I went to Pleasure Island & went to Dis Quest, & bot a piece of cheesecake at the Cheescake Factory! Good Luck. Val
