anyone used this? reasonable exchange rates? I've got an assortment of currencies left over from business trips and it doesn't make sense to convert to cdn then back to us so hoped to do it down there. Or alternately, anyone used currency exchange at MCO - any idea where it is? I've also posted on a couple of other boards including transportation but as of yet have no response - hoping my fellow canucks can help.

thanks :flower3:

Generally currency exchanges are not a good deal at the airport, but if you can't exchange the funds anywhere else, what can you do! It'll be about 5% worse from what the bank rates might be if my memory is working right tonight.

You'll probably get the best rate at your own bank, or check other banks in your area.

And, why are you converting to CAD and then to US. Couldn't you just convert directly to US?

We had to exchange a large amount of currency last year and did a little research. What I discovered is my bank charges 4% over the bank rate (called the spread I believe) and a currency exchange place in town only charged 2%. My dad's credit union allows him to exchange once a year at bank rate. If you are doing a large amount it is worth it to check around. I know I was surprised that my bank would not give me a better rate.
