Curling fans

Slam hockey pucks as far and fast as possible trying to get them skipping on water.

I had to open this, to find out how a fan could curl something.
:lmao:

when I saw the sport on the Olympics I was fascinated by the sweepers. I liked it but I didn't know they have a full season, interesting thought

My mom is from Canada and all her siblings curl in the winter and fish in the summer.

Curling can actually get somewhat significant attention here in Canada at certain times of the winter, especially in the west. There is a fairly large men's tournament and a women's tournament, skins games (similar in format to golf only it goes by ends, which are like periods in other sports and there are ten per game) and then the world championships. It certainly doesn't get the attention that sports like hockey, basketball or football get, but it is often shown on TSN, which is basically the Canadian ESPN.

Curling is very popular here in Alberta. Dd 15 even had it part of her gym cirriculum this year lol. Kind of like the time I had to learn how to skin a deer in the football field in grade 9 in outdoor education:lmao:(back in the olden days) We have somewhat evolved since then.;)

To answer the op's question....golf, waterski, boating, camping, fishing, hiking, rockclimb lots to do.:thumbsup2

Or you leave the crappy summers we have had for the last three summers and pack your family up and come to Florida!:goodvibes

Hmmm, well now I'll have to try and find it because the whole thing is strangely mesmerizing to me.

BTW, I like you instantly because behind hullaballoo, fiddlesticks is one of my favorite words and you have it in your tag

Haha, well it's always nice to be liked. I forget why I got the tag, I think I became upset at something at some point in time a number of years ago, but there were a number of children around so I just said fiddlesticks. Apparently it stuck. :)

Here is the link to curling on the TSN website, it should give you the information you are looking for: http://www.tsn.ca/curling/
