Just curious of everyone's opinion. Where are your favorite places to sit for the parades and why?

Here are mine-Don't recall names of the places, though.

MK-Love sitting on the wall at the Taco/Spanish restaurant. Closely situated to Splash Mountain, so kids can ride the rides right up to parade time. Plus it is out of the sun.

MGM - sitting on wall near the Sound Studio area. I prefer to sit on the wall closest to the entrance to the busts of the celebrities. Great place to park your stroller. Stroller can be right behind you, so if you have a sleeping baby, this is perfect.

I like to sit in front of the candy store on Main Street. DS and I get there early and son makes several trips to the store while we're waiting.::yes::

We sat on the platform at the train station overlooking the circle on Main Street for Spectromagic. Great view and we had chairs! You do need to get their early, however, so it's not a good choice if you don't like to wait.

For the Share a Dream Come True parade, we sat just up the road (toward the castle) from the Confectioners. This worked out great, because it's one of a few places where they stopped the parade and had kids come out to participate. As a result, our kids got to do the bucket brigade with the brooms from Sorceror's Apprentice and also got to dance with the villains. They LOVED it!

For MK we usually always sit in front of the train station for both "Share a Dream" and "Spectro."

In October they weren't letting people sit on the wall oustide Pecos Bill. I liked that spot too, nobody pushing from behind and nobody could squeeze in front. They also weren't allowing people to stand behind the fence at Pecos Bill's, which I can understand. You could fall off -- although we've done it and have great pics of the characters coming right up to my camera lens.

Hi. For the MK parages we sit in front of sports emporium store just a bit down from casey's-- I think it is the best spot.. b/c you can see the parade coming from the train station area and see it go towards the castle..

MGM parade: right in front of the photo shop..

ENJOY YOUR TRIPS EVERYONE!!

You'll be in WDW same time as us. As a newbie to WDW can I get a peak at your Itenary?

If you see someone with the Bridal Mickey ears on it might be Me!

Thanks,

Hi there! Congrats to you on your upcoming wedding! My new husband and I just spent part of our honeymoon in WDW.. in JUNE!! It was great and we had a blast!

Unfortunatly, for this trip in Dec. I have no itinerary planned in terms of parks and what days we are attending. What I do have are priority seating and our plans for NYE. Basically i made sure to have a breakfast and a dinner booked every day b/c I have been told it is very crowded this time of year. We go back to alot of the same place for dinner (Flying Fish, Califonia Grill, and JIKO)..
Also, I feel it is best for me that I figure out what to do - when I get there and find out times and parades, etc. That's what works for me...
GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!!!!
RENEE
