Curious...Who Has Gotten Rid of their Land Lines?

Never had a hard line ran to our home when we built it as we used a VOIP provider

We use our cells mostly but wife wanted to keep our home number so I bought a pay as you go phone and ported the number to it. I have it forwarded to my cell.

We also bought magic jack which work pretty decent. Wish we could port our home number to it.

We haven't had a land line since 2001. With a small child, I'm thinking about possibly getting something like Magic Jack, but DH said, "Why?" So I have a feeling we won't get one.
