Curious? How many pay there dues right away?

Mine are only about $300 so I just pay it all in January. It's not worth the trouble of monthly billing.

Right now I am not set up for monthly payment for our MF (the ones due on January 11th) - is it too late for me to switch over to monthly payment so I don't have to pay one big lump sump at the beginning of each year - or am I stuck with it being a yearly payment since that was what I had decided on when I bought? Anyone knows?

Thanks!

Monthly payments. It's an interest free loan. The interest I earn by letting the money sit in my accounts adds up to a lot more than the 1% from Chase.
You get more than 1% interest? Do you mind sharing what bank you use? The ones I've checked are all small fractions of a percent

Give Member accounting a call and they will switch it over for you.

Our original contract was on monthly then for some reason out add on was pay all at once so I called them they confirmecby bank details and we were all set. They just need a voided check.

We are from UK but opened an account in the US o we could pay monthly. We transfer money in when the exchange rate is good and then we dont have run the exchange rate gamble every January.

I pay mine online on Jan 3. I use my Discover Card for the cashback bonus and my statement cuts on January 2. This way I can have the dues paid for but I don't have to outlay the cash until Feb 1.

I maximize that .05% interest rate on my savings account!
:rotfl:

We put money aside each month (earning interest), so we pay it all at once.

I pay with CC the last day before late charges start. Can't see a reason to pay them earlier.

Used the SW Rapid Rewards credit card to pay and then pay it off immediately.
Our dues amount to at least 2 1/2 credits toward a free flight. Last year we received 10 free flights from SW, as well as a Companion Pass to fly a person free with me. Hoping to get another Companion Pass for the next year.

Monthly from our checking. Never even think about it. However I know it works different for everyone and this is just the best way for us.

I am a new DVCer and I called member accounting yesterday to set up the monthly process.

All I needed to do was fax in my checking account number and ABA number.

And it was a Chase checking account number - hope I didn't :scared1: you with that additional info

We pay monthly. I don't see any real advantage to paying it all at once.

I pay in December with Disney gift cards that I have purchased at a discount during the year on ebay. I buy at a discount, get paypal rebate, Mr. Rebates rebate, and Amex rebate on each card.

What sort of discount can you get off of face on a gift card (just curious)? How do you ensure the amount left on the card is what's advertised on the listing?

We decided to pay it monthly, since there are not any fees associated with doing so.
